For me, one big advantage at GIBS is how much industry exposure they squeeze into the program. It's not that typical college style where you only hear case studies in class and then suddenly go for placements. Here it's continuous. We get guest talks almost every month from CEOs, founders, VPs, HR heads, etc. IRE sessions also push us to think like entrepreneurs and not just textbook students.Plus we have field trips, industrial visits, internships, live projects, and proper workshops from industry people. I actually liked the fact that we interacted with companies before even knowing what specialisation we'll take — it helps you figure out if you're more into marketing, finance, HR or whatever. Even TEDx and podcasts give exposure in a very different way, because we're not just sitting and listening, we're working as teams behind the scenes.If I compare with my friends from other colleges, they start thinking about “industry” only after final semesters. Here from the first month you start touching that world. So placements don't feel like some final exam.
