The fee is reasonable, and along with academics, they also include many extra activities, exposure programs, and personality development sessions within the same structure. At IFIM, the fees can go much higher, especially if you choose special tracks, but at GIBS you get a lot of learning and practical exposure at a fair cost. So in simple terms, for a student who wants quality education without too much financial burden, GIBS is the better choice.

If they like your application, they'll ask you to write a short essay about yourself (called an SOP). Then, you have an online interview where they ask about your goals and interests. If you do well, you get selected and then complete the admission by paying fees. For PGDM, you also apply online and need to show your scores from exams like CAT, MAT, or CMAT. After that, you write an SOP and attend a group discussion and interview. They check everything—your marks, test scores, and how you perform in the discussion and interview—before giving you admission. So basically, GIBS looks at your application, how you talk about yourself, and how confident you are in the interview. It's not just about marks—it's about showing who you are and what you want to do.

Since you're in Chennai, you can write these exams either at a local center or online, depending on the exam. After writing the exam, you need to apply to GIBS with your score. If you meet their cutoff (usually around 60 percentile or more), they'll call you for a group discussion and personal interview. If you do well in that, you'll get selected. MAT or ATMA is easier than CAT, so if you're looking for a simpler option, you can go with those.
