The best college ever to experience.

Placements: I joined GITAM in 2024 (BBA). In my course, 70% of the total students would have applied for the placements and out of that 40% would have got placement. The highest package is around 9 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are Deloitte, etc. 70% of the students got internships. Top roles offered in course are head of the student life and the student council committee.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are very good. The infrastructure is very good. We have Wi-Fi facilities everywhere in the college. Every block also has a library. We have one library block to study. The hostel rooms are also very good, and the food in mess is also nice. Medical facilities are provided whenever needed, and regular sports meets are conducted.

Faculty: Faculty members are also very good and helpful. They are very well qualified and have a good knowledge of the course. Teaching quality is too good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. Semester exams are not much difficult, if we study on time just listen during class and complete our work. Pass percentage is around 75%.

Other: I chose this course because I am not interested in technology field, and also it's too difficult. But this course is too good, and the best thing about this course is that we learn different types of practical skills for life. College has various events going on during the year. It also has two big fests every year. The campus crowd is also good, and there are many people around us during break. There are many extracurricular activities held in college by different SIG (sports in GITAM) and clubs.

Review of GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam.

Placements: Only 10-15% of students were placed, and the packages didn't exceed 3.5 or more compared to what they show it's much more disappointing inside because it's all based, and too many restrictions even in placements. As many people didn't get the opportunity.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure when I was studying was okay but they made it better now. Facilities and all are fine but for the school of business it was bad compared to the fee we pay but they are renovating everything now. So now it could get better! The food in the mess is not too good.

Faculty: Many teachers I have come across were well-qualified and very fun too. But still, you can find some facilities that are based, and disrespectful too. The courses and all offered are good. The pass percentage for internals and overall is 35/100 and it is relatively grading.

Other: It's not as good as shown but can get exposure.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are very good. The infrastructure, too, is very good. We have Wi-Fi facilities everywhere in the college, and every block has a library. Also, we have one library block to study. The hostel rooms are also very good, and the food in the mess is also nice. Medical facilities are provided whenever needed, and regular sports meets are conducted.

Faculty: The faculty members are also very good and helpful. They are very well qualified and have a good knowledge of the course. The teaching quality is too good. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams are not too difficult if you study on time, just listen during class and complete your work. The pass percentage is around 75%.

Other: I chose this course because I am not interested in the technology field, and also, it's too difficult. But this course is too good, and the best thing about this course is that you learn different types of practical skills for life. The college has various events going on during the year, and it also has two big fests every year. The campus crowd is also good, you will see many people around you during break. There are many extracurricular activities held in college by different SIGs (sports in GITAM) and clubs.

My personal review of GITAM School of Business, Visakhapatnam.

Placements: Last year, batch 2020, my seniors got placed in different companies with good placement packages. Around 70% of the total students applied, and 60% of them got placed. The highest package was 7 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies included Deloitte, among others. Around 70% of the total students got internships in various companies. We got various roles in our course, such as joining the student council and becoming the president of the committee that looked after all the students' grievances.

Infrastructure: All facilities provided in the course/department were very good and helpful. We got hi-fi technology in the classrooms with digitalized teaching. The environment was very clean and hygienic, including the canteen and washrooms. Even the hostel facilities were very good and hygienic. We got good food in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities were quick and efficient, and regular sports meets were conducted for various sports. Wi-Fi was available throughout the college.

Faculty: Teachers in the college were very helpful, knowledgeable, and taught very well. Faculty members were also very kind-hearted. The course curriculum was relevant, as it made students industry-ready and provided very good knowledge of how to work in the real world. The semester exams were hard if you did not focus, but easy if you understood the concepts.

Honest review of my college.

Placements: Placement of the college is really good; we have many renowned companies that come to our college for placement, like TCS, Wipro, Infotech, Infosys, Ashok Leyland, Bosch Company, and many more. Our college has a good placement record, and we have approximately 75% placement.

Infrastructure: There are good facilities in the hostel, with average food; good facilities in the hostel, with average Wi-Fi; good facilities in the hostel with power. There is no playground facility, but a gym is available where extra charges are imposed on every student. This is the rating given to our GITAM University for its hostel facilities and mess food. The course structure is defined for 4 years and 2 semesters per year. Each semester consists of 6 subjects and 3 labs, excluding the final year. We have observed 5 subjects with a lab in the final year 1st semester, followed by 4 subjects and a lab in the succeeding semesters.

Faculty: The course curriculum of the college is perfect. We have proper regular classes with practicals and workshops as well. We have semester exams and sessionals as well. We have a credit system based on the choice of students, and we also have a foreign language in our regular course. The faculty members of my college are highly experienced and skilled; most have done well in their respective fields. They are really helpful and concerned about students and interact with them so that they can clear all their doubts and understand the concepts in a better way.
