GITAM University Vizag MBA Courses & Fees 2026: Eligibility, Admission, Placements

GITAM Visakhapatnam MBA Application

Candidates have to go to the official website of GITAM Deemed-to-be-University. After registering on the admission portal, they have to fill the application form for MBA programme. Candidates need to fill in their details and upload the necessary documents such as Aadhar Card, Class 10 Certificate and Marksheet, Class 12 Certificate and Marksheet, Bachelor's degree Certificate & Marksheet etc. They need to pay application fee of INR 1,200 to complete the application process.

Entrance Exam & Personal Interview

Eligible candidates have to submit valid score of national/state level entrance exam which is accepted by GITAM for MBA admission, such as CAT, MAT, NMAT, CMAT, SNAP, or AP/TG ICET. Else, they need to apply for the GITAM Business Aptitude Test (GBAT) exam. The students may be called for Personal Interview by GITAM. The selected students are informed about their provisional admission.

Payment of Admission Fee and Admission Confirmation

After the results are announced, the students selected for MBA programme at GITAM need to make the fee payment to confirm their GITAM Vizag MBA seat.

1. Merit-Based Scholarships

This scholarship given on the basis of performance in GBAT or any other accepted entrance exam. It applies only in the first year. To continue receiving it in the following years, a minimum CGPA of 8.0 must be maintained.

2. Need-Based Scholarships

To be eligible for the need-based scholarship at GITAM University, the combined income of both parents or guardians of the eligible student must be less than INR 8 LPA. If the student is married, the combined income of the student and spouse, must be less than INR 8 LPA.

3. Sports Scholarships (100%, 75%, 50%, 25% and 15%)

4. Employee Children Scholarship (60%, 40%, and 20%)

5. Loyalty Scholarships

10% scholarship is offered by GITAM for any alumni returning to do higher studies or children of alumni or real siblings/children of retired employees of GITAM or spouse of GITAM employees.
