The college is much better than expected.

Placements: I joined Gitam in 2024 for the BBA. In my course 70 percent of the total students will have applied for the placements and out of that 40 percent have got placement. The highest package was around 9LPA and the average package was around 4LPA. Some of the top recruiting companies are Deloitte etc. 70 percent of the students got internship. Top roles offered in the course are the head of the student life and the student council committee.

Infrastructure: The facilities provided by the college are very good. The infrastructure is very good. We have Wi-Fi facility everywhere in the college and every block has a library also we have one library block to study. The hostel rooms are also very good and the food in the mess is also nice. Medical facilities are provided whenever needed and regular sports meets are conducted.

Faculty: The faculty members are also very good and helpful. They are very well qualified and have a good knowledge of the course. The teaching quality is too good. The course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry ready. The semester exams are not too difficult if you study on time just listen during class and complete your work. Pass percentage is 75 percent.

Other: I chose this course because I am not interested in technology field and also its too difficult. This course is too good and the best thing about this course is that you learn different types of practical skills for life. The college has various events going on during the year and it also has two big fests every year. The campus crowd is also good you will see many people around you during break. There are extracurricular activities held in college by different SIGs Sports in Gitam and clubs.

I am very happy with the college and college life.

Placements: Last year, batch 2022-2025, my seniors were placed in different companies with a good placement package. Around 70 per cent of the total students would have applied, and 60 per cent of them were placed. The highest package was 7 LPA, and the average was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies were Deloitte, etc. 70 per cent of total students got an internship in various companies. We get various roles in our course, like we can join the student life and be the president of the committee that looks after all the students' grievances.

Infrastructure: All the facilities provided in the course/department are very good and cool, and very helpful. We get hi-fi technology in the classroom with digitalised teaching. We have a very clean and hygienic environment, canteen, washrooms, etc. Even the hostel facilities are very good and hygienic. And we get very good food in the mess and canteen. Medical facilities are very quick and good, and regular sports meets are conducted for various sports. Wi-Fi is available everywhere in college.

Faculty: The teachers in the college are very helpful, knowledgeable, and teach very well. The faculty members are also very kind-hearted. The course curriculum is relevant, as it makes the students industry-ready, as the course provides a very good knowledge of how to do the work in the real world. The semester exams are hard if you don't focus, but easy if you understand the concepts.

Very good college with great overall campus life.

Placements: Quite decent placements we have. But now many companies are not coming to our college. The highest package on paper is 60 LPA, the lowest is around 2 LPA, and medium is 5 LPA. Asian Paints, Qualcomm, Amazon, and Flipkart are top recruiters for our college. I don't have much of an idea about the roles.

Infrastructure: We do have good facilities and infrastructure in our college, like everywhere you go, we have separate Wi-Fi for each floor in each block, spacious classrooms with digital projectors for interaction with students, and a big library, and we do have active clubs, activities, and interactive sessions with professionals and experts.

Faculty: We do have experienced faculty who have a minimum of 10 years of experience in teaching. They do interact with students in the class. Expect few to teach just the subject in the curriculum when it comes to our curriculum. Exams are not too tough, the papers are prepared by our separate branch faculty, and they are very moderate to hard.

I would recommend this college.

Placements: There is a good amount of student placements and internships. Roles offered are mostly operations, HR, marketing, finance, and analytics. There are good recruiting companies like Deloitte and Asian Paints, etc. Above 75% get placement opportunities.

Infrastructure: Our college has its own cafeteria and Wi-Fi facility. It has more than 3 computer labs and has its library. All hostel rooms are neatly cleaned and sanitized, and the food provided is also safe and healthy. College also has a gym which is well-maintained and has proper ventilation and infrastructure.

Faculty: All teachers explain in both theory and practical ways, which helps students to understand easily and more effectively. The education is done on a case-study basis to get practical knowledge. Overall, faculty members are friendly. Percentage of marks is divided into 70 marks internals and 30 external.

Other: There are fests conducted continuously in 3-4 months. Events and many extracurricular activities are conducted like singing, dancing, cultural events, acting, art, sports and many more.

Honest review of GITAM School of Business.

Placements: Students who secured above 50% marks in their intermediate are eligible for this course. The average salary package offered is 2 LPA. Recruiting company is Deloitte. College doesn't provide internship opportunities, we need to find by ourselves. Positions offered are sales department and typing job.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of our department is not that great though, washrooms are way too dirty, and the cleaning department is least bothered to maintain hygiene and tidiness. Anyway, GITAM is actually developing and renovating the block, making it look much more premium and luxurious.

Faculty: Teaching is top-notch rated 5/5. The course curriculum is relevant. The semester exams are easy and are conducted to test your knowledge of the subject, like how far students understood. The mid-term pass percentage is above 10 marks. Marks for practical exams are 30, and for internals, it's 70. So, the total marks are 100 (70+30). The passing mark is 35.

Other: Placements are bad. Teaching is not that great. Infrastructure is not good. College fees are very high. So, my personal opinion is to find another college. There are many better colleges out there than Gitam. It's really a waste of money. Now I really regret joining this college. College fee is around 8 Lacs for 3 years.
