Good college for enjoying your college life. There are a lot of events happening and studies.
Placements: The placements are good and they start preparing the students from the 3rd year and they start giving them training so that they can get a good job in the final year. Our college also offers many internships which are very useful to the students and almost every year 70 percent of students get placements.
Infrastructure: Every class is a digital class and they contain all the equipment needed for teaching. There is an AC as well as a non-AC class. Most of the classes are in AC rooms and there are many labs like the done lab, the AI lab, and the Murti lab. The labs are accessible to everyone in the college.
Faculty: Every teacher in GITAM is Ph.D. scholar. They have years of experience in teaching and they teach well but some faculty are good enough in teaching but in practical not good enough but most of the faculty are very good in teaching they are contactable even after classes.
Other: Every student can get a scholarship but scholarship seats are limited. You have to pay a fee ahead of joining to secure youth seat.

It offers moderate placements and a little exposure.
Placements: Mostly, women have high chances of getting placements. Not big companies will come here. Companies like Oracle and Infosys visit the college for placements. But branches like Mechanical engineering, Civil Engineering, and EEE have more placements than the Computer Science and engineering branch.
Infrastructure: We have Wi-Fi, a library, a gym, and classrooms with a projector. The mess offers bananas every day and eggs except on Saturday. We have a medical room. We have games like basketball, volleyball, athletic track, kabaddi, badminton, chess, and football. Every Sunday, we get to eat chicken biryani.
Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive except for a few. The attendance required is 75 percent in all subjects. We should get 25 marks out of 75 marks. The supplementary examination fee is Rs. 1,200. For core subjects, we have to pay Rs. 7,500.

“Good infrastructure and supportive faculty, with average placements based on student effort.”
Placements: This summary covers the undergraduate and some postgraduate placement trends for engineering and management programs at GITAM Bengaluru. Combined figures vary by department and batch year, Amazon, TCS, Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini, Cognizant, Bosch, Deloitte, DXC, Mu Sigma, and more. A majority of students get internships by the 3rd year. More than 60% of students got internships through active placement support and self-application. Internship roles often include Software Developer, Analyst, Testing & Support, Junior Engineer, etc.
Infrastructure: Labs are well-equipped labs for practical learning (computers, software, and hardware tools). The campus-wide Wi-Fi has good connectivity most of the time. Classrooms are clean, spacious classrooms with good seating and projectors. The library is a large library with books, journals, e-resources, and a quiet study space. Mess food is average to good in taste and variety. Canteens offer snacks and meals, though quality can vary day-to-day.
Faculty: Good campus with supportive faculty and facilities, average placements, and better results for students who put in extra effort. Most teachers are helpful, qualified, and approachable. Teaching quality is generally good and supportive. Some professors focus more on concepts than just notes. The syllabus is updated and relevant to modern industry requirements. Includes a mix of theory and practical subjects. Helps build basic job-ready skills, but real industry readiness often depends on self-learning and projects.

Very dissatisfied because of placements and not worth the fee.
Placements: Very few students are placed in my college, nearly 2 percent. The highest package is 54 LPA, and the lowest is 3 LPA. Oracle and Tata Infosys hire students. 20 percent of students are doing internships. I don’t know what courses they are offering in my college. Top roles are AIML, data science, and cyber security, and they are offering a lot of courses.
Infrastructure: In my college, Wi-Fi facility is very bad; we are not getting proper data and signal. Washrooms are very small, poorly maintained, and unhygienic. There are very few bathrooms for a lot of people. Canteens are very expensive, and the food is also not good.
Faculty: Teaching faculty is good. This curriculum doesn’t make students ready for the industry. Semester exams are very difficult, and the pass percentage is 25 percent. The college needs to improve a lot of things and must invite more companies, only then students will get better placements.
Other: Data Science is gaining more popularity these days. I think we need more practice sessions. Events that they conduct are very bad. Also, the college is very fake, and I don’t believe in this college.

It has good infrastructure and hostel is comfortable.
Placements: Up to 30% of people get placed. The highest package is 15 LPA and the lowest is 4 LPA. The average package is 6 LPA. Top companies include Oracle, Accenture, Rakuten. 60% of students got internships from MNCs like Infosys, Wipro, TCL, and HCL. Roles offered for my course include Software Developer, Data Scientist/Analyst, UI/UX Designer, and DevOps Engineer.
Infrastructure: Facilities like Wi-Fi are available 24 hours with good bandwidth. Classrooms are AC with all required amenities. The classrooms are nice. Labs have what we need, and the library is good and best for the students with the best books. Hostel rooms are good with 24-hour Wi-Fi. The quality of food is better. Sports and games are nice. We can play anytime. Medical facilities are good, and they are available anytime.
Faculty: Teachers are always helpful, and some faculty members are strict. They are knowledgeable, and the quality of teaching is good, which is best for students. Semester exams are somewhat difficult, but we can easily get good marks in the subjects. Some courses are tough. We have to plan according to our subjects. It is easy to pass the exams. We can score good marks, which are important to gain knowledge.

GITAM is deemed to be a university.
Placements: 50% of students got placed in our course Computer Science Engineering. The highest package is 30 LPA and the lowest package is 3 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Wipro, and TCS. 20% of students got an internship for our course.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are very good for our department. Wi-Fi, labs, classrooms, and the library are available. Mess and canteen are very good on the college campus. Hostel and medical facilities are 24/7 available. Sports and games are also available.
Faculty: Teachers help in studies to pass the semester and to get internships or a final job. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready. The semester exams are too tough in this college, and the percentage is 8 plus to continue a college scholarship. The faculty members are well-qualified from IIT Bombay.
Other: I chose Computer Science and Engineering because I am interested in data analytics. I have to improve my communication skills and coding skills. There are fewer events and fests on our campus.
