GITAM deemed to be university.

Placements: Manufacturing technology course is very rare. Not many students are interested in taking it. There is an average of only one section when I joined in the first year M.Tech. The highest package in my college and in my course is 30 LPA and the average is 3 LPA. TCS, Texas Instruments, Hyundai, etc., are recruiting. Coming to internships, only about 10% of students are going.

Infrastructure: There is the best infrastructure in place. There are many neat classrooms and labs with all requirements met. There are many computer labs for all courses. There is a big library with many books available. The food quality is somewhat good, and the hostel rooms are moderate. The bus facility is available, and sports grounds are also there.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful most of the time. In college, if we have any doubts, we go to their cabins. If the faculty is there, it's our luck. Otherwise, we use ChatGPT. The teaching quality is nice and understandable. This course is relevant to many industries. Many industries are taking students from my course. There are 4 semesters. The exams are not very difficult. The pass percentage is 98%. Most students easily pass.

Our college us not worth for the fee paid and it is worst than private colleges.

Placements: The percentage of M.Tech students got placed through campus placements was zero. Don't expect placement through this campus while joining in M.Tech course in any specialisation in this deemed university. They are also not assigning proper projects to students during the second year. They are just copying journals. There is no chance of gaining practical knowledge during the course.

Infrastructure: There was no Wi-Fi provided on the campus. But there was internet facility through WLAN cables. Ports are almost available in every lab. Software related labs were good. Required CAD software were available in labs. Core related labs were very poor. There is no minimum requirement machinery in every lab. Labs in normal colleges are better than the labs in this college. Hostels are very good in this university. Internet facility is available for every room through WLAN ports. There are very big grounds in this university and you can play any type of outdoor games. There is a special ground for cricket in this university. The quality of the food served in the hostels was excellent. Everyone will gain some weight after eating food in the mess for one month. Only disappointing thing is that, for first-year students, you should walk about 2 km from hostel campus to the mess building. It will be very difficult on a sunny day and in the summer season. The academic fee was also very high.

Faculty: Faculty members in the college are qualified, but they did not had any knowledge. They will by heart the things present in the textbook before the commencement of class and they present as it is on the class board. Most of them will not explain properly. Regarding the curriculum, it was a very outdated curriculum. There were some unnecessary subjects in the curriculum which were not at all required.

Other: I choose M.Tech in the machine design course because I'm passionate about designing machines. If you want a degree for an M.Tech course in machine design you can join this college. The academic curriculum must be improved a lot. They must remove unnecessary subjects from the curriculum. Core labs should be improved. The organisation of fests is good. There will be a two-days fest for each department every year at this university. Sports and extracurricular activities are good.

The college provides good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Almost 65% of the students got placed. In our course, the highest salary package offered is 13 LPA, the lowest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the average salary package offered is 10 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our college are Britannia, Mondelez, Parle G, Vishaka Dairy, Priya Foods and Heritage Foods. Top roles offered to the students are food processing analyst, food manager and food quality analyst. Almost 85% of the students got an internship in Vishaka Dairy, Parle G, Coca-Cola, Horlicks and Pepsico Ltd.

Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available in our college. Labs are well-equipped, and the library facility is also provided here. GITAM hostel has good infrastructure. Food served is very good, and Wi-Fi is available in the hostel. Emergency doctor and pharmacist are available for 24x7. They also provide a good ground for sports and games.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were very helpful, highly qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was very impressive. This course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students get ready for industry. This course offers very good opportunities for students.

Other: There is nothing to improve in our college. Events and fests are organised in our college.

Dissatisfaction for M.Tech because of faculty and placements.

Placements: So many companies came to this college. Some of my seniors selected in some companies. Compared to M.Tech, B.Tech students got more placements. The students selected and placed from this college having good skills. The core companies offers more jobs for undergraduate students.

Infrastructure: Good infrastructure, having more number of buildings, having hostels for boys and girls individually. Parking availability is more. Good canteens are there. Individual infrastructure buildings for individual departments. Roads are good to every department.

Faculty: In M.Tech, the course curriculum is not yet good. They have to improve the course curriculum. They may change the course curriculum. Coming to faculty, some of faculties are good at subject knowledge, but some may not. But by taking feedback from students it will be helpful.

In GITAM M.Tech in civil not a worthy but B.Tech has great scope.

Placements: Had provided no branch based placements to us or even to B.Tech students. Only software companies are show to them and even to us (where we are doing specialisation in structural engineering). Finally projects done by us are faculty Ph.D. projects. Not even a single project is new or not even contemperory.

Infrastructure: Gitam is know for its infrastructure. Also provides great environment to the students to excel in both studies and culturals. Student life is great here with fests and culturals around the year. Coming to the hostels they were maintained greatly even food is good but cost is slightly high. 24/7 internet facility is provided around the campus.

Faculty: Gitam has its own course curriculum and provided with easy to pass type of question paper pattern. Coming to the faculty it will be 50-50 chance of finding a good faculty. Here I have to say senior faculty are given utmost respect but they teach very less and they mostly busy with activities of university and other academic works.

Other: Gitam Visakhapatnam campus has good connectivity with city and also beach. Fests are main attraction of gitam. Many extracurricular activities are coordinated by students itself around the year.

An eco friendly atmosphere with high infrastructure and regular cultural events with good placements

Placements: The placements are good in getting both software (design) and core. The companies like Cyient, Hyundai, TCS, Accenture, Tech Mahendra etc. with good packages are visiting our campus. There is a placement cell, and we should clear all the subjects to get eligible for all the placements, and we are offered better roles.

Infrastructure: The classrooms are clean and have a great infrastructure. The labs are well-equipped with all software and machinery with centralised AC. We can access to free Wi-Fi all over the campus. The canteens are extraordinary with lots of varieties of good quality and quantity food.

Faculty: The teachers have experience and provide their best of knowledge with friendly nature, and available all the time for clearing doubts of the students. We have industrial visits, and the methodology of teaching was creative as there are projectors in the classrooms, the topic is clearly explained.

Other: We have international conferences held regularly with trending topics and many cultural events held by the departments.

M.Tech MTA Review of GITAM.

Placements: In our batch, no one had been placed. The top recruiting companies included Alstom, TCS, Amazon, Capgemini, and Suzuki. The roles were application engineer, manufacturing engineer, design engineer, research and development engineer, and scientist.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities and library sources were very good. Classrooms had good facilities and were air-conditioned. Facilities in the hostel were good. They had good Wi-Fi, a games place, a TV hall, AC, and a lift facility to all the floors, with regular cleaning of the hostel.

Faculty: Faculty members were highly educated, and the course was very good. Semester exams were very difficult. The course curriculum was designed in a way that students. They were encouraged to learn new skills and adopt new technologies in manufacturing and automation engineering.

Other: Campus fests were very good. We had fests every week, organized by student life. Extra-curricular activities were also available. Connectivity of the campus to the city was good, and good transportation facilities were available.
