GITAM School of Core Engineering, Visakhapatnam BTech Courses & Fees 2025: Accepted Exam, Placements, How to Apply

The GITAM SOT BTech course admissions are decided on entrance basis. Depending on the chosen BTech specialisations, the mandatory Class 12 subjects as well as the entrance exam for GITAM SOT admissions will change. STEP 1: Registrations for the Entrance Exam

Candidates will need to apply for either the JEE Mains, UCEED, EAPCET and other entrance exams depending on their chosen specialisations. The registration process for each of these entrance exams is very similar and require candidates to follow the instructions of the announcement circular for each of these exams. Once candidates register for their appropriate entrance exam, they must clear it with an appropriate rank to proceed to the next step.

STEP 2: GITAM SOT BTech Application Process 2025

Candidates who clear their chosen entrance exams with an appropriate rank must visit the official website of the GITAM SOT (https://www.gitam.edu/visakhapatnam/gitam-school-of-technology) for the remaining admission process. Candidates need to follow the below mentioned steps on the official website:

Step 1: Click on the 'Apply Now' tab on the homepage.

Step 2: Fill in your details in the registeration form and verify your email and mobile number.

Step 3: Use the credentials provided to you to login.

Step 4: Fill the application form for the chosen BTech course and upload all necessary documents.

Step 5: Submit the application for by paying the GITAM SOT BTech application fees which stands at INR 1,200 in 2025.

Candidates may need to attach the following documents to their admission form before submissions:

• Certificates along with mark sheets of both Class 10 & 12
• Proof of both ID and address
• Passport-size photographs
• Character certificate
• Migration certificate
• Domicile certificate
• Attested copies of birth certificate and last qualifying examination
• Attested copies of any other necessary document required (SC/ ST/ OBC certificate etc.)

STEP 3: Personal Interview and Confirmation of Admissions

Candidates whose application is accepted for BTech admissions at GITAM SOT are called for a personal interview round at the chosen campus. Candidates who manage to clear the PI round are alloted seats in their chosen BTech course. To confirm the seat allotment, candidates need to pay the admission fee. The BTech admission fee is usually a portion of the total tuition fee. The total tuition fee for BTech courses at GITAM SOT is around INR 6.08L - INR 12.24L.
