The COMEDK UGET Counselling 2025 is over with the release of Round 4 seat allotment results and cut-off ranks for GMIT Davangere admission process of BE/BTech courses.
A few more updates are given below:
- The Karnataka PGCET Counselling 2025 final seat allotment results for Round 1 are now available for admission to MBA, MCA, and ME/MTech courses. Candidates allotted seats in this round must pay the fees and report to their allotted colleges by Oct 9, 2025.
- The KCET Counselling 2025 Round 3 final seat allotment results have been published for admission to BE/BTech courses.
- The GATE 2026 registrations are ongoing for admission to ME/Mtech course. By Oct 9, 2025, aspirants can complete their online registration process with the late fee payment. The GATE 2026 exam dates are Feb 7, Feb 8, Feb 14, and Feb 15, 2026.

Not at all a good college for placements and fake marketing.
Placements: Roughly 20-30 students are placed, and the college people put fake placement numbers. The highest package is 7 LPA and the lowest is 2 LPA. 5% of students got internships in Bosch and KodNest. Role offered is software developer. From 1000 final year students only less than 50 students got placed. It is a worst college for placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good having unlimited Wi-Fi, a good library, and the canteens are good but the mess is bad. There is no preference for sports, only study, and they charge us money for every small thing. Hostel is good with three-sharing and two-sharing rooms with attached bathrooms.
Faculty: Teachers are not all qualified, we watch YouTube and prepare for exams. We are under VTU so the curriculum is old but is essential in software engineering. The exams are at a moderate level and if you study 1 week earlier you can easily pass with good grades as well.

I am dissatisfied because I did not get a good lab facility.
Placements: Only a few number of students get placed in our college. Only the top students are encouraged, and not other students remain concerned. There is no internship offered for our course, and only less package companies visit our college campus.
Infrastructure: There are no good lab facilities in our college. There is a poor Wi-Fi connection in our college. The only concern is about the fees that are paid by students. Food availability in our college is good. The ambiance is also good.
Faculty: There are less number of faculty members for our department. They are also less knowledgeable. Exams are done at regular intervals as they are scheduled. The difficulty in the semester exams is not as tough as the university prepares question papers, as per the students' concern. The teaching is not that good.
Other: The course I have chosen is good. The teaching is not that good, which is the only problem.

The college has the best infrastructure in Davanagere.
Placements: Around 50% of students in our course get placed in jobs. The average salary package is about 3 lakhs per year, while top companies like Infosys, Wipro, and PayPal offer salaries of around 34 lakhs for IAS roles. About 60% of our students also secure internships.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college for Wi-Fi and lab is pretty good. We have quite an impressive library which is large enough for 200 students to be seated in. The hostel facility and food facilities are quite good. The importance of sports is also better.
Faculty: However, the teachers aren't very helpful despite being qualified (like having PhDs). The course prepares students to be nearly industry-ready, but the semester exams can be quite challenging, and sometimes the questions are beyond the syllabus.
Other: I chose the core because of my parents and the things we could learn and discuss about artificial intelligence and how it works. The new things that I could think about but could improvise it is they should updating the syllabus on what the topics are going around the world. We do our scholarships like SSP and best like Malika in our college.

Good faculty and a nice campus.
Placements: 100% of students pass out this year. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. The course includes business, account management, company economics, management, and Indian banking services.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are very wide range, with a capacity of 70 to 80 students. Labs are available, and Wi-Fi is throughout the college.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and know their subjects well. Most of them teach clearly and support students when needed. The course is useful and covers important topics. It helps students learn theoretical and practical skills needed for jobs, but doing extra practice or internships is also important. Our college faculty is very friendly, incredible, and highly experienced.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in medicine and want to work in the pharma field. The best part is that we get to do lab work and learn useful topics for jobs. I think the course can improve by adding new topics and providing more chances to meet people from the industry. Better internships would also help.

Overall college is good with faculty members.
Placements: Top recruiters for civil engineering Larsen and Toubro, Tata Projects, etc. Almost 50% of students got placed. The salary package offered is 3.6 LPA. Top roles offered are site engineering, design engineering, quality engineering, and water resources engineering.
Infrastructure: The college has quality Wi-Fi and labs for students. Classes have quality teaching screenboards. The college has a digital library. This college has a separate hostel for boys and girls on the campus with security, a canteen, sports, and games have good quality.
Faculty: The teaching has high quality with educated faculty members. The college conducted industry visits for students. The semester exam conducted with students who regularly attend class will be helpful for students. Exams have multiple answers, and theory exams also have.
Other: My batch is 2024-2027, and I am studying in the 2nd year of civil engineering.

The infrastructure is better. Faculty could be more better and the placement is the worst.
Placements: Placements in our college are not very good. Barely four companies visit, and two of them, focused on women empowerment, only recruit girls. They created an Elite 60 by selecting the top 60 students and trained them for packages above 15 LPA, but no companies actually came for placement. Overall, the college placements are the worst.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college is good. There is 24-hour Wi-Fi throughout the campus. Classrooms are small, but they are currently being modified and made more beautiful. In labs, computers are old versions and not updated. The library is good, and hostels are better.
Faculty: Faculty members are average. They do not fully know subjects they are handling, they learn and then come to teach. If a doubt is asked, they often don’t know the answer. But, there are a few lecturers who are good. As for exams, internals and final exams are conducted as per the schedule.
Other: I chose Information Science. Improvements that should be made include having skilled lecturers to provide proper knowledge. Events and fests are not conducted as expected.
