- The MAT 2026 May session registrations have started for admission to the MBA course. For the PBT mode, the registration deadline is May 25, 2026, with the exam scheduled for May 31, 2026. For the CBT mode, the last date to register is Jun 8, 2026, for the exam taking place on Jun 14, 2026.
- The KMAT Karnataka 2026 registration window for the session 1 exam is anticipated to open in May 2026 for admission to the MBA/PGDM and MCA courses.
- The Karnataka PGCET 2026 registration deadline has been extended to Apr 20, 2026, for admission to the MBA, MCA and ME/MTech programmes. The exam for the MCA and MBA courses will be held on May 24, 2026, and for the ME/MTech course, on May 23, 2026.
- The CMAT 2026 result has been declared for admission to the MBA/PGDM/MMS courses. Students can download their scorecards by logging into the official website.

It is the best college. All that is needed is some work on college events and attendance allowance.
Placements: As a student of Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management I found the placements to be strong, with over 260 recruiters and 1,000+ offers. The highest package is 43.98 LPA the average is around 6.3 LPA and the median is 4.7 LPA. Top recruiters include Microsoft Adobe Amazon and SAP. Many students also secured internships at Mahindra MRPL and MCF. Common roles offered are software development data analytics and core engineering positions.
Infrastructure: Hostel life is comfortable with separate boys and girls blocks WiFi study lounges, 24X7 power backup hot water gym access and basic furnishings like a cot cupboard and study table. Students rate the infrastructure highly (4.3/5) though some note that the canteen food prices are a bit steep. Campus has a well-maintained medical center multipurpose sports grounds with a 400 meter track courts for cricket football badminton and basketball along with an indoor gym table tennis chess, and carrom facilities.
Faculty: The curriculum is well structured relevant and industry aligned with students often saying it prepares them effectively for the professional world. Regarding semester exams they are challenging but fair. Success often depends on practicing model papers and keeping up with internal assessments. One review estimates the pass percentage to be around 85 percent.
Other: I chose this course at Sahyadri because it matched both my interests and career goals. The college's strong placement record made it an obvious choice. The best part about the course is how it balances theory with practical exposure through well-equipped labs, industry tie-ups, and internships that genuinely make us more industry-ready. The supportive faculty members and consistent placement opportunities are also huge plus points. I do feel there is scope for improvement. Some parts of the curriculum could be updated faster to reflect emerging technologies. The exam system could be made a little more application-oriented instead of written-based.

The college is good and supportive.
Placements: I belong to the 2024-25 batch. Currently, I am doing my BE at Sahyadri College. I don't have any idea about the percentage of students who get placed in my branch. In this college, the highest package is 43 LPA and the average package is 3 LPA. BLEC Co Ltd, Microsoft, etc., are the top recruiting companies for our course. This year, 100% of internships are provided in top companies.
Infrastructure: I did not opt for the hostel, so I do know about the hostel facilities. The food quality in the canteen is good but according to me it can still be better and versatility is needed. Sahyadri College encourages sports a lot. It has a different section for sports and games. It conducts many sports events as well.
Faculty: Overall, the teaching is of good quality and the course curriculum is also well-structured. Teachers are good and helpful as well. They are friendly and ready to guide us when we approach any of them. Even the exams are conducted in a good manner and the rules regarding the curriculum are strict. I have no complaints regarding this area.
Other: Overall, this college is good but more encouragement is required for the extracurricular activities. They do support sports and games but when it comes to cultural activities it seems to be less. As a student of this college, I would like to have more cultural events, fests, and even more technical fests. We need more support to participate in the other events happening outside the campus.

Our college is good and perfect selection for upcoming students to study.
Placements: In our college, 80% of students were placed, and I also got placed in a reputed company. The highest package was 40 LPA, and the lowest package was 2 LPA. Top recruiting companies like Google, Infosys, Tata Electronics, Bosch, Coca-Cola, etc., visited. In our course, more students got selected for internships with KIOCL and Lamina Foundries. The top roles offered to us were in the production and manufacturing departments.
Infrastructure: In our college, all things were available, such as the library, Wi-Fi, and canteen facility with good food. Extra classes for students to score high marks in the exams, good hostel facilities, and a good parking area on the campus. Extracurricular activities were also there in our college.
Faculty: Teachers were more helpful, and they were always encouraging us to score good marks in exams. The teaching quality was also good. The semester exams were good for me, and I scored good marks in all of the exams. This course curriculum was most relevant to me, and it made students industry-ready for sure.

A good environment for education in center of nature,Sahyadri College of Engineering and Management.
Placements: Around 80% of students are placed. The highest salary package was 43.43 LPA for the CSE branch in Belc. The average salary package is 3.5 to 4 LPA for all branches. The lowest salary package was 3 LPA overall. Top recruiters include Japanese companies, Karmic Design, Infosys, Rinex Technology, and many more. Around 250+ companies visited and offered 480 offer letters in the last campus drive.
Infrastructure: Hostel facilities are available for both boys and girls. The hostel is within the campus. It is affordable, clean, well-maintained, and semi-furnished. A dedicated study space is available on each floor. The food has nutritional value, and the quality is very good. Other facilities include Wi-Fi, hot water purifiers, an outdoor gym, an indoor gym, a cricket ground, a football court, etc.
Faculty: All teachers are well-qualified and clear each and every doubt of the students. Our college is autonomous and comes under VTU Belagavi. About 80% of the syllabus is fixed by VTU, and the remaining 20% is a flexible syllabus set according to industry requirements. There will be three internal assessments and one final semester exam. The passing percentage is 40%.

We have good faculty, and I think my course is helpful for my future.
Placements: It's the second batch of Robotics and Automation. 2 students have placed in our branch. The highest package is 6 LPA and the lowest is 5 LPA. Robotics-based and Mechanical-based companies. Students are doing internships in robotics-based companies. The main role in our branch is to study mechanical & computer science-based courses.
Infrastructure: All the facilities in our branch are good and have well knowledge. They are supportive of our studies and project works. Labs, classrooms, library, Wi-Fi are good. I'm staying in a PG, so I don't know much about the hostel. The mess and canteen are okay. The college management is giving great support for sports and games.
Faculty: Yes, the facilities are helpful and well knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good and understandable. Semester exams are difficult compared to the VTU syllabus. The average passing mark is 40%. We have to score 40 marks out of 100 and should be eligible in internals.
Other: I thought Robotics and Automation is a unique course and I may get good placements. The course may help for the future, so I chose this course. Events are fewer compared to other universities. Campus surroundings and campus crowd are good. I don't get scholarships because my native is Kerala.

Mixed Bag: Positive Facilities, Questionable Faculty"
Placements: I got 89% and above marks. It was a really good package with a great campus, and placements followed excellent rules. Top companies recruited for our course. A high percentage of students secured internships, and the companies offering them were great.
Infrastructure: Full high-tech companies offered Wi-Fi classrooms and a library that never disappoint. The hostel was really amazing. great mess food, the quality of food available in the mess and canteen was really great. Medical facilities, sports, and games were very grateful.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful qualified and knowledgeable. Teaching quality was great. The course is curriculum relevant. The students are industry ready. Semester exams was difficult but it was easy to pass. The pass percentage is 25%. Very great college.
