Infrastructure, faculty of our college is so good Our seniors got good placements in the MNCs .

Placements: 85% of students are placed in my course to MNCs the highest package was 7.2 LPA TCS, ACCENTURE and many more companies 70% got the internship in TCS, akamai, wipro Many internships were offered by the course co coordinators We have the best teaching faculty and co ordinatiors.

Infrastructure: Our college infrastructure is so good with modern equipments with praiseworthy interior design and our college provides free Wi-Fi to all students within the campus. And a Big playground for sports and activities. Here we also have a Canteen, and medical facility are also available in our college.

Faculty: Teachers are well qualified and professional. They are some of the highly experienced personality. The course curriculum is so relevant that the student is made ready for the next step of his life. The exams are a little difficult but not so much. The passing percentage of our course is 35%.

Other: Mechanical course is best because it paves the way for us to have lucrative career that benefits me and the society.

It provides excellent infrastructure and good facilities.

Placements: The top recruiting companies are Infosys, Accenture, IBM, Quest global, MU Sigma, Tech Mahindra, NTT Data, L&T, Emphasis, TCS, etc., visit our college for the placements. The placements cell of our college is very good. They will give all the necessary information about the campus selection, and students will be encouraged to attend the placements.

Infrastructure: The library is well-maintained, and the hostels are good but no attached washroom in the hostel. The college has a tennis court, a basketball court, a football ground, and many indoor games as well. There are Wi-Fi facilities, good hi-tech laboratories, decent canteens, and a very good library.

Faculty: The course curriculum is average, because it helps students to get prepared for placements. The faculty members of our branch are very good, and a majority of them are very well qualified, and have even done their Ph.D. also. Students have ample amount of teachers for each student, and the teachers themselves are very helpful.

Review of GMIT - GM Institute of Technology.

Placements: Only 25% of the mechanical engineering graduates got the job. Most of them are BPOs or business associates. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2.5 LPA for a core field. Only Bosch is the top recruiter which took only 2 people who might not have joined. Few were offered trainee jobs and the rest got sales jobs.

Infrastructure: Most of the lab equipment is not at par with the current industry standards. Library cannot hold books for the course. Wi-Fi is highly regulated. It is always interrupted by management officials. Although the food served is good at the hostel. There are no medical, sports, and canteen.

Faculty: The course is very difficult for a non-Kannadiga student. They have still appointed some underqualified lecturers to teach. Students are lagging behind in terms of industry requirements. Exams are kept relatively easy, but many students do malpractice and are intentionally ignored.

Other: Mechanical engineering is based on product development and power management. If we get to explore the possibilities in this field, it will be fun. We should be able to spend time in the lab, doing research under a professor reading books at the library, etc. But other than this there should be enough funding for management fests. Students should have the freedom to celebrate them as they want under the guidance of professors and the management committee. NCC should also be set up on the campus. There should also be a college radio which should be up during the day.

Our college is known for its beautiful infrastructure. Nowadays the college is progressing rapidly.

Placements: There is a good scope for campus placements from last 4 years. Many MNCs are visiting the college for placements. Nowadays, the college has signed MOU with many industries in order to give practical exposure to students, which helps the students to get better placement opportunities. But there is less scope for placements in core companies.

Infrastructure: The college has one of the best infrastructures in Karnataka. The laboratory facility is also good. The college provides 24X7 Wi-Fi facility in the hostel. The campus is clean and tidy. The college is situated on the outskirts of Davanagere, and our campus is huge. It has a dedicated infrastructure for laboratories and classrooms. It is one of the best colleges in terms of infrastructure.

Faculty: Mechanical department of the college has the best faculty members when compared to other departments of the college. So every year, the admissions for the mechanical department are conducted frequently. All the laboratories are highly equipped with modern technology, and we also have highly skilled instructors. Overall, the college provides good faculty and facilities.

Other: Every year, a technical fest named Delta is conducted here. It provides opportunities for the students to showcase their technical abilities to compete with other college students.

It is a good college for quality education.

Placements: Placements are very low as only a few companies visit the campus. Those companies are also not much-reputed ones. They selected only a few students from the mechanical engineering branch. The percentage of students placed might be below 15%. This is because the students have backlogs.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. The campus is huge. It is 2 km away from the city, and the place is calm. It has very good quality hostels. There are 2 Wi-Fi zones on the campus and many in hostels. The library is very good. Labs are very well-equipped. All the classrooms have CCTV cameras and projectors for audio-visual learning. There are medical facilities for hostelers. Sports and games are entertained.

Faculty: Faculty members are very good. They are highly knowledgeable, and they do care about our future. They are very friendly, which allows us to interact with them without hesitation. The course is designed as per the guidelines of VTU, and the syllabus is completed on time. The course is hectic due to continuous examinations.

Other: Events are conducted in our college, but they are not as good as in other colleges.

If you have talent, you are at the right place to be pushed up.

Placements: I am still in the second year of my engineering studies. In our college, many students were placed in companies like IBM, TCS, etc. The alumni who joined the company came and shared the difficulties that they faced during the placements, in the programme conducted by the college.

Infrastructure: Our college has very good facilities like very good labs, and we also have a wide range of Wi-Fi facilities which offer high-speed internet for getting information about what we don't know. In the college, there is a good library where the books are available. There is a good encouragement for sports, a very good canteen, and medical facilities as first aid. Our classrooms are clean, and they are painted white, and there is a very good building. We have very good loan facilities and also transportation facilities in which the bus facilities are provided to the students at free of cost.

Faculty: Our college has very good faculty members, some of the faculty members are simply awesome. If they start teaching, we will be very much interested in the class, but there will be some negative point in every place, very few, maybe one or two lecturers may not teach well. It will be as you here in other colleges, where they have been working for many years, so they are neglecting the students, but most of the faculty members are very good, simply super.

Other: In the college, we conduct good cultural activities. One of the cultural activities in our college is Mallika fest, where the cultural competitions like singing, dancing, rangoli, debate in Kannada and English, photo collage frame making, wealth out of waste, and many cultural competitions were organised. SKIT mine, dance, song, and one more fest, which is a national level technical fest Delta is celebrated. In this, the technical knowledge is given more importance, the technical games are conducted to students, and the technical instruments are held for the exhibition, which is free of cost for the college student and they will charge for outside students. In our college, they are giving us extra training of using the software like AutoCAD and solid edge, and most of the students are getting a Vidyasiri scholarship, which was given by our Karnataka government.

GMIT is the best and has good faculty in the college in Davanagere.

Placements: There is a placement cell to train the students to become aware of the importance of training and placement in the first year itself. Different stages of placements namely aptitude round, technical round, group discussion, personal round, HR round etc. will be made familiar through the expert trainers. Infosys, Tally, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, gate etc. visited our campus for recruitment.

Infrastructure: The college has excellent infrastructural facilities that include spacious classrooms attached with tutorial rooms. Wi-Fi is available in the college campus. Laboratory facilities are very good, different branches have laboratories like workshop practice lab, cad/cam/car lab, foundry and forging lab, machine shop lab, energy conservation lab, fluid mechanics lab, heat and mass transfer lab etc. Separate department library is maintained to enhance the knowledge of both faculty and students mechanical engineering discipline. Stream wise books are maintained which gives immense knowledge in the specific field.

Faculty: The college has a blend of highly experienced and young faculty members and belongs to different specialisation like production engineering, thermal engineering and design engineering and many active researchers with active involvement in R and D Projects.

Other: There are cultural, sports, technical, study tours and industrial visits, literary, alumni activities are conducted on our campus.

Satisfied because of the placements in 2017. The college has good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placement for our batch is good, and for our senior batch, it was great. About ten students got placed. The highest salary offered was Rs. 45,000 per month, the lowest is Rs. 34,000 per month, and the average is Rs. 37,000 per month. TATA, TCS, and TOYOTA are the companies visited the campus. The managing role and some other good roles were offered to the students. About, 54 percent of the students got the internship from the college. The placement cell is present in the college, and it is useful for us.

Infrastructure: The labs, classrooms, library, and the sports are highly facilitated. The labs contain every instrument required and good atmosphere to perform the experiment. The classrooms include good benches and board, and they are good in structure. In the canteen, the availability of food is good, and it is low price compared to the other. The hostel rooms are near to the college. I didn't face any infrastructure related issues during my tenure at the college.

Faculty: Here, the faculty members are like friends for us. They know how to handle us. They are highly knowledgeable. The teaching quality was excellent, and they try to finish all the chapters. The teaching method used was good. They maintain the classes of any faculty is absent, and they clear all of our doubts at any time. The course curriculum is useful.

Other: All the cultural and sports events are conducted every month. If there is an application for the scholarship, they will announce it on the campus.
