The college has the best infrastructure in Davanagere.

Placements: Around 50% of students in our course get placed in jobs. The average salary package is about 3 lakhs per year, while top companies like Infosys, Wipro, and PayPal offer salaries of around 34 lakhs for IAS roles. About 60% of our students also secure internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure in our college for Wi-Fi and lab is pretty good. We have quite an impressive library which is large enough for 200 students to be seated in. The hostel facility and food facilities are quite good. The importance of sports is also better.

Faculty: However, the teachers aren't very helpful despite being qualified (like having PhDs). The course prepares students to be nearly industry-ready, but the semester exams can be quite challenging, and sometimes the questions are beyond the syllabus.

Other: I chose the core because of my parents and the things we could learn and discuss about artificial intelligence and how it works. The new things that I could think about but could improvise it is they should updating the syllabus on what the topics are going around the world. We do our scholarships like SSP and best like Malika in our college.

Overall, the college campus is good and faculty members are better.

Placements: 50% of the students were placed last year. The highest package is about 34 LPA. The lowest is about ranges between 3 LPA to 4 LPA. Wipro, Infosys, and PayPal were companies that reported our students. 70% of the students got internships from our goal in above mention companies.

Infrastructure: College infrastructure is quite big and now it has been declared as university. We have some labs and 34 labs are there in our department of computer science. We have a big library which is huge and very well built. The quality of the hostel is quite okay. Medicine and canteen are good. Sports are not conducted in our college.

Faculty: English college teachers don't talk about classes for fun and their main students study the syllabus which is out of syllabus. The word syllabus is not up to date and students are of course ready for industry. Exams are quite difficult as compared to others.

Other: I chose this course because of my family. The best thing is that we come to know that it is artificial intelligence and how it works. They should improve and update accordingly. They are taking the world's old syllabus and not updating scholarships.

Good environment, good quality teachers, and good for placement.

Placements: I am passing out in year 2026. Our percentage should be good for the interview of Google and other highly paid jobs. Students should maintain good quality marks and maintain their resume strong with all satisfied works abroad or in India. The minimum offer, the highest package, is 20 to 25 lakhs per annum.

Infrastructure: Facilities are good to respond to students’ classes. Hostel mess is very clean and they are a very good environment. Libraries are maintained very well. There are available all test books to students according to their course. The test books are very good to learn more about our course.

Faculty: Teachers are knowledgeable; they teach us like friends. They repeat their concepts. If one student also does not understand, they explain them in a proper way. They conduct 3 internals before the sem exam to make students’ preparation good before sem exams. Sem papers are easy.

Other: I am passing out in year 2026. I chose CS engineering because it's a trending course that gives a high-quality salary in the coming future. In GMIT, events are much better than other colleges in Davanagere.

My experience of the college. The high and lows.

Placements: Our college is good for placements. More than 20 companies visit, and last year, over 750 students got placed in companies like PayPal, Tata, and Infosys. Top recruiting companies visit the campus. Last year, a student received an offer of 34.65 LPA from PayPal, the highest package in our college.

Infrastructure: Our college hostel facilities are good. The hostel food quality is also good. Hostel rooms, washrooms, and hostel facilities are also good. The hostel mess, hot water supply, and drinking water supply are healthy, very nice, and of high quality.

Faculty: Our college faculty, curriculum, and exams are good. Our college teaching facilities and the relationship between teachers and students are very nice. We have high-quality professors. Our college campus is good and has a very peaceful atmosphere. There is no ragging in our college.

Other: I have chosen the data science branch in B.Tech. It is a good course. Our college development is increasing year by year. Our college facilities are very supportive of us regarding teaching and other extracurricular activities. They also help us with placement.

Our college is good with faculty members and placements.

Placements: Our college provides guaranteed placements for CSE students. The average salary package offered is 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The highest salary package offered in the previous year was 13 LPA. EC and CSE students get placed more on-campus. Companies like TCS and Infosys visit to hire students. The placement officer is humble.

Infrastructure: The hostel in our college serves good food but sometimes, students complain about the food. The hostel provides free Wi-Fi. Classrooms are spacious and are enough for 60 students. We have a huge library.

Faculty: Teachers are good but they focus more on studious students. The teaching quality is good. Our college is VTU affiliated. Exams are partially tough. All the time, question papers are considered from VTU.

Other: Our college is poor in cultural activities. The hostel fee is around Rs.90,000 per annum.
