The maximum students of the CSE department get the software roles, and the sad point is that no core companies attend our college (very few may).

Faculty behaviour is very bad, but placements are good, and the library is large.
Placements: Above 80 percent of students are placed. The packages range from 3 LPA to 51.6 LPA last year, 2025. Amazon, Paypal, and Google are top recruiting companies. Around more than 70 percent of students apply to Cisco, Amazon, and TCS by themselves. Top roles offered include software engineer, data analyst, and data scientist.
Infrastructure: The college has considerably fast Wi-Fi connection, though some labs have very slow laptops. Classrooms are vast, clean, and peaceful. The infrastructure is excellent, neat, and calm. There is no hostel, but canteen food is good. There are a few indoor and outdoor games and limited medical facilities. The library is very good and large.
Faculty: All faculty are qualified, though some have very little knowledge and teaching quality is below average. The course is hard but makes students industry ready. The pass percentage is around 85 percent. Some teachers are very helpful, while some are not. Overall, this course is relevant.
Other: I have interest in computers. The course curriculum and faculty experience are good. Many events are held, the campus has a lot of crowd, and the college is in a hill region. Clubs and scholarships are available.

Come and explore the Hill Country College.
Placements: Regarding placements, it is better than many other colleges. It conducts training and placement sessions and offers a stipend of Rs. 20,000 for each placement opportunity.
Infrastructure: The college construction is very bad, as it is built on a hill, which makes reaching the campus tiring. There is no separate college for boys. The campus is only for girls. Sports facilities are of a medium level, and the events are not very impressive.
Faculty: The college follows an average curriculum. It is similar to what other colleges offer. It should focus on trending technologies driving the market, such as Artificial Intelligence and Machine Learning. They teach students how to train LLMs and gain more practical knowledge in AI and ML.
Other: This is an average college. You will realize its true value after joining.

Honest review of a student from GRIET.
Placements: I am from the Computer Science Engineering department. Placement opportunities in my department are too good, and approximately 90-95% students will be placed in my course and sub-branches of my course. The highest package is up to 54 LPA, the average package is 12-15 LPA, and the lowest package is 5-7 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Google, Microsoft, IBM, JPMorgan Chase, etc. Software engineer, data analyst, and project manager are the top roles offered. About 70% students got internships in companies like IBM, JPMorgan's Case.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good. They provide laptops with Wi-Fi during the lab hours. Classrooms are clean and neat. The library is large and has many books. Students can take the books from the library and return them. 1st year students have a separate sports period, and games can be played after college hours.
Faculty: Teachers help and guide students. A few teachers are not knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good from most of the teachers. The course curriculum is relevant. In my course, they teach C and Python in the 1st year, Java programming, DBMS in the 2nd year, and full stack development in the 3rd year. It makes the students industry-ready. The semester exams in this college are medium level. The pass percentage is 80-90%.
Other: I chose CSE because I am interested in coding and learning programming languages. The best part of my course is that we can play with the code and learn. There are many clubs in my college, clubs conduct quizzes, hackathons, workshops, and make students learn technical skills and communication skills. There are a few fests in the college. The campus surroundings have trees all over, and are far from the traffic.

I loved the college campus for its environment and infrastructure. The college has good placements.
Placements: Nearly 75-80% of the students of my course, that is Computer Science and Engineering, are placed. The highest package in our course is 52 LPA, the average package is 12-13 LPA, and the lowest package is 7-8 LPA. Top recruiting companies are Microsoft, JP Morgan, Oracle, IBM, Google, and more. 50-65% of students in our course got internships in companies like JP Morgan and IBM. Top roles like Data Analyst, Web Developer, App Designer, and Java Development roles are offered in our college.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure of the college are good. The college has spacious classrooms, and the labs are neatly maintained. The college library has books for all the courses, and it is a peaceful place to study. The college's environment is peaceful with greenery. I am from the hostel which is near the college, and the facilities of the hostel, like providing geysers and washing machines, are good. The rooms are spacious and clean. Coming to the food, the quality of food is good.
Faculty: The faculty are helpful in academics and guide us to improve in core skills and perform better in core subjects. The teaching quality is really good. The course curriculum is relevant, and this college makes the students ready for the industry by training them with various skills for placements with better packages, and also helps them gain knowledge about their course. Semester exams are not too difficult. Everyone can clear the exams by putting some effort into academics. 85% of the students will succeed in passing the semester exams.
Other: My interest in programming made me choose this course. The best things about my course are startups, fast-growing technologies like web and app development, Data Science, and creative problem-solving. There will be several technical and non-technical events on the campus. Our college also conducts some fests like the Traditional Day and the Freshers. The government provides scholarships for students based on their merit.

The college infrastructure is good, with a lot of greenery, and placements are good.
Placements: The college placement is very good and actively provides opportunities in various companies. They have strong ties with big IT companies like Amazon, Microsoft, JPMC, TCS, Cognizant, Infosys, and many others. The placement percentage is above 80%. Placement-oriented training is conducted separately so students can secure jobs. The placement cell actively posts internships and encourages students. The placement cell offers students opportunities in various domains according to their interests.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are good. It has projectors, good lighting, clean rooms, and proper seating. Labs have well-conditioned equipment, modern laptops, necessary software tools, and Ethernet and Wi-Fi. The library has vast resources in a well-organized manner. The lab facilities are also good.
Faculty: Coming to faculty, some are good in their academic knowledge, while some are not very efficient in delivering classes. The curriculum is well-prepared and advanced, focusing on industry-relevant learning skills. The semester exams are medium in difficulty. The pass percentage is 75 percent. But some lecturers are not strong in their subjects.
Other: The college focuses on discipline, so there are fewer non-teaching fests and events, but more teaching events are conducted.

Satisfied because of the good faculty and good placements.
Placements: 85 percent of students got placed in my course, which is in Data Science, and it depends upon you to learn the skills. In my branch, the highest package is 28 LPA, and the lowest is 6 LPA. The top recruiters are Amazon, Google, and Deloitte, and some are off-campus placements. Up to 76 percent of members got internships, which also depends on the way you participate in all hackathons and college events.
Infrastructure: Nice facilities and no events. Labs are also good, and classrooms are well-maintained. There is no college hostel for boys, only for girls. The hostel fee for girls is 1,15,000. There are separate grounds for cricket, volleyball, and football, and the college has a gym that is free for all.
Faculty: The college has good faculty. They arre supportive. These curriculum-relevant courses will make you industry-ready, and it depends on you how you prepare and learn. The teachers are knowledgeable, and they have PhDs in their subjects. The teachers are helpful. If you want only to study, then it is a good choice.
Other: Don't expect much in terms of events. There are only 2 or 3 events in a year.
