Government college is not bad at all.
Placements: There are total 78 students places in the course. The highest Package of the college 34 Lacs per annum and the lowest was 10lakh per annum and average was 15 Lacs per annum. Top recruiting companies was SBI hdfc, idfc, tcs. They provide basic package to the students. There is no opportunity of internship in this college.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is good not like a private college but still it is not the worst. There are clean classrooms and the college also has a library. There are Wi-Fi facility in the campus but in some places only. Hostel is decent as we except in a government college. There is no canteen. Medical facility decent. College has many sports activities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they teach well. There are qualified and knowledgeable. They teach good. This course is relevant as a degree but you have to study skills yourself. Try your chance for CA and other bank exams. Semester exams are easy if you study side by side. Most of the questions are previous years.
Other: I chose this course because I want to become a CA but I also want to do a degree in Bachelors. The things that are best are accounting and Maths I love these subjects. I would like to change the curriculum relevant for the present world. There are events like dance singing and sports. Scholarships are for poor students.

Review of Government College, Hoshiarpur.
Placements: Internships and placements are not provided in our college. Every student focuses on theoretical studies. Hardly 2 to 3 seminars are organised from the other universities. Additional job opportunities and internships are provided by an unofficial authority.
Infrastructure: Classrooms, benches, and tables are not cleaned. Canteen doesn't serve food items and it contains only junk food. Toilets are not cleaned regularly. Sometimes water is not supplied properly.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and provide all the necessary guidance to the students. Exams procedure is average. Exam arrangements avoid the cheating capability of students.
Other: All arrangements are below average in our college.

Good faculty, Good teachers, Good infrastructure, Good environment.
Placements: About 40 students were in my batch. About 80% of students are settled now and earning a good package. Some are preparing for competitive exams, some are doing higher studies, and some students have become a teacher after doing B.Ed and clearing teaching eligibility tests.
Infrastructure: The classroom was well-organized and clean. There was always silence in the library. There were different sections for different subjects in the library. So I didn't find any difficulty in searching for any book. The quality of food was good in the canteen, good medical facilities.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. They taught us on a regular base. Yes, I did my post-graduation in maths, it helps me a lot because Maths is such a subject that is used in almost all fields. The level of semester exams was moderate. The pass percentage was 65-70%.
Other: I chose this course as I love Maths. Maths is used in all fields that's why there are lots of opportunities for Maths students. I think there should be a discussion of NET questions in class so that it would be helpful for the NET aspirant.

Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) - Batch of 2018
3.2

It is an affordable college with some facilities.
Placements: Around 20% of students are placed in our course because it is a normal course. You have to find a job by yourself. No top companies visit there. We didn't get an internship. It is best if you just want to do a B.A. Jobs are not guaranteed in this course. It is a very basic course.
Infrastructure: The library is fine, but there is no Wi-Fi for students. Classrooms are very normal. There is no air conditioner. Desks in classrooms are broken. The labs are not good. They don't teach practicals. The food in the canteen is of medium quality and reasonably priced. They also provide medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and they teach very well. They help us learn quickly. Semester-wise exams are there. There is no need to worry about studying.
Other: I chose this course because I just wanted to get a degree. I don't want to get a job because I have a business. I studied it to become a graduate and to learn the basics. You can study well here at a low price as it is a government college. Fees are very affordable. Everyone can pay for it.

This college is a good choice for middle-class students.
Placements: In this college there were not that many placements offered. The salary package was only Rs 15,000 - Rs 20,000 round on. The placements were very few from this college but studying at this college was quite good. A large number of students study at this college.
Infrastructure: Wi Fi facilities and rooms were pretty good at this college's hostel. Also classrooms were airy and tidy. The campus was also good. The food of the canteen was FSSAI approved, and the canteen was fully hygienic. There were many labs also.
Faculty: Curriculum activities were pretty good at this college. The arrangement of exams was also quite good. Teachers were very helpful, and their method of teaching was also very effective and good. The passing rates in the exams of students were also above 80%.
Other: In the end, I wanted to suggest to you that this was a good choice for middle-class people, and also, the method of study was very easy and effective with the professors.
