Placements of our college are very good.
Placements: I can say soo much about placements at the college. There is a huge chance to get a secure job after completing B.Tech in electrical engineering from this college. About 90% of students get placement after completing their degrees. Most of the students get a chance to pursue M.Tech at popular universities.
Infrastructure: Our college is a well degisned and well furnished college. Every classroom has a projector. The whole campus uses a high network of Wi-Fi. The labs are so clean and filled with brand new machines. Canteen facilities are also available. The hostel is too good for living.
Faculty: Our faculty members are so good to make a student ready for industrial purposes. The exams happen with strict guards in the exam hall. Our teachers are always ready to help a student anytime. They are most knowledgeable and their teaching quality is so extraordinary.
Other: It is a core course of engineering. The connectivity between the senior and junior is so good.

The environment is good, and seniors are also helpful.
Placements: Placements are average in our department. Most of the students are interested in higher studies, so they prepare for their GATE examination. The lowest salary package offered is 3.5 LPA, and the highest salary package offered is 9-12 LPA. Top recruiting companies are TCS and Ardent. Top roles are offered in the computer science and engineering department.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is average. There are libraries, and you can borrow books by having a library card. There is the availability of Wi-Fi, and classrooms are quite spacious. Food is available in the canteen, and medical facilities are available if students get sick.
Faculty: Teachers are quite decent, and they are helpful for solving problems. Teachers did their PhD. Semester exams are held by MAKAUT University. If students are well-prepared, then they can solve it easily.
Other: There are a lot of extracurricular activities in the college, and students can learn a lot of things.

It is a good place to gain comprehensive knowledge and placements.
Placements: From our college, about 50% of the students got jobs this year. The highest salary package offered here is 6 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 3 LPA. Many students got internships from here. Many companies visit here for placements. Our college has a huge placement cell. Approximately 40% of the students got internships in the present year.
Infrastructure: Our hostel is excellent, and our canteen facility is very good. Both in our college and hostel, there is a free Wi-Fi facility, lab and library. There is a volleyball ground, basketball court and football ground. In our hostel and college, every place is under CCTV surveillance.
Faculty: Our faculty members are very friendly, and they conduct classes from time to time every day. They give us study materials, class notes and everything which boosts our knowledge. Our faculty members help us with every small problem. They work harder for our better future.
Other: We love our college very much.

Our college has poor placements and moderate-quality infrastructure.
Placements: For electrical and mechanical branch students, there are very few opportunities to get placed, i.e., less than 10% placement opportunities. However, from textile, about 60% of the students got placed, while from the computer science branch, almost 90% of students got placed. Wipro, Infosys, Indus Net, Cognizant, Veda IIT provides an internship opportunity for students of this college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, and the Wi-Fi facility is available. For electrical, computer science and textile branches, technology labs are available. The library is not that good, but digital classrooms are available. The hostel facility is awesome and available at a very low cost. In the hostel, different sports and games facilities are available. The quality of the food served is very good.
Faculty: Teachers here are helpful, qualified and also knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good, but they are unable to provide appropriate study material to their students. There is no discussion about the placements of students. A permanent TPO member is not available. You can contact any teacher at any time for solving your doubt. But there are few jobs opportunities for students after completing their graduation.
Other: It is a state government engineering college of West Bengal, and it demands a very low cost for the study. It is one of the oldest colleges in West Bengal. Good rankers in West Bengal of joint entrance examination WBJEE join in this college, and hence the educational atmosphere is available. As good students join in this college, our college should take responsibility to provide them with the best knowledge. At the end of the graduation, the college should take responsibility to provide an opportunity for the students to get placed. A lot of events are organised in this college like Swaraswat Puja, annual fest, Biswakarma Puja, freshers party, etc.

I am a bit satisfied and a bit not. It's a government college that's it.
Placements: No placements outside Textile companies and IT companies. No core companies. Seldomly Electronics companies come. In previous year batches 2 to 3 of them got in IT companies like Wipro Capgemini. But for CSE dept placement opportunities are there many got jobs in TCS Wipro Mahindra Tech Capgemini. For Textile students no need to worry just maintain above 6 pts avg marks Ample job and internships available for them. EE and ME department are lacking in placement most of students aim for competitive exams.
Infrastructure: EE dept Average infrastructure but present labs are maintained well and new procurements every year. Lab based projects are also done but on small scale. We also have our own Substation at college. ME dept Labs are there also CAD CAM lab available but don't know much about them. CSE dept Computer labs are well versed and maintained. Textile dept Best labs of college fully functional units.
Faculty: The teachers are helpful they would take classes whenever students ask of any department. Classes are maintained in proper way. Teachers are very good and kind attitude. Course curriculum is under the Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology.
Other: We organise Saraswati Puja every year, the most renowned saraswati puja of berhampore. We organise a 3 day of Fest where there are cultural programs, Tech fest, gaming competitions, Robotics display, Band fest and Artist performances.

The college is almost good for electrical engineering.
Placements: There are very good placement for electrical engineering. Only 40% placement for student. The highest salary 5 lahk/year and the lowest salary is 3.2lahk/year. The companies are visit like tcs, gogle, wipro etc. B.Tech of roles were offered to the student. 100% student got internship from college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not good. Too short college. The area is too short for a B.Tech college. The labs, library are clean and all books are not found in a library. The classrooms are so big and clean. The food quality is very good in a canteen at low price. The hostel rooms are great very big and clean.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful and very sticks. The teachers knowledge is great. Many teachers are having Ph.D. Yes we are get a industry exposure. The course curriculum is very useful. The student should be wear formal shoes and dress for first year and other year can wear normal dress.
Other: Yes, there are held all type programme like fest, freshers, saraswati puja, etc. In the one year held annual sports games where are held many types of game like volybol, football, cricket etc. And held many indoor games like table tennis, caram etc.

Review of Government College of Engineering and Textile Technology, Berhampore.
Placements: As a textile college, approximately 80% of the students got placed from campus drives. The campus drive of the CSE department is average. Electrical engineering and mechanical engineering students are suffering to get jobs. There are some campus drives for electrical students, but we are much disappointed as engineers.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi service is very good. Labs are excellent, and smart classrooms are also available. Professors give lectures by using projectors and PPTs. The food service in the canteen is moderate. In new buildings where EE and ME classrooms are available, there is no drinking water supply on the 2nd and 3rd floors.
Faculty: I am a student of the electrical engineering department. Faculty members are very helpful and qualified. They are always ready to help us with our studies. They always pay special attention to GATE, but faculty members are not careful about placements.
Other: Many cultural and extracurricular activities are conducted here.

I had good experience with the college. The faculty are helpful, and the infrastructure is good.
Placements: The placement of all candidates is done. About 30% of the students are placed. The highest salary was Rs. 50,000 per month and the lowest salary was Rs. 12000 per month. Fusion Charts, Wipro, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, are the companies which visited the college. There is no internship accommodated in the college. The placement cell is very helpful and gives campus schedule by mail time to time.
Infrastructure: Unlimited Wi-Fi facility is available in every corner of the college campus. Every equipment is available for lab classes with the smart class facility. Every classroom also has the smart class facility. New books are now available in the library for every subject. No medical facility is available in the college, but Murshidabad Medical College is available which is 2 km away for medical treatment. The student association arranges all the games facilities like football, cricket, table tennis, carrom and newspaper also. The canteen is not good for daily routine, but breakfast and tea are available. I am not a hosteller so am not aware of hostel. There are no infrastructure issues.
Faculty: The teachers are knowledgeable enough to deliver the subjects. It is a government college professor are obviously qualified and helpful. The syllabus for the semester wholly covered by the teachers. The student to faculty ratio is near about 7:1. The faculty members also arranged industrial visit under Tequip II programme.
Other: Freshers party (at the start of the session) Vishwakarma puja, Saraswati Puja and social at the end of February or March are arranged. The college campus is 7 km from Berhampur station. All types of scholarship are arranged and notified at the notice board.
