It is good for research labs and good for advance learning.
Placements: There is no placements assistance for M.Tech students, neither internships also. Until now, none of the students got placements from 2020 pass out batch. Our college is good for B.Tech only. If you want to pursue M.Tech in non-IIT colleges, then I suggest students opt for Walchand, Sangli.
Infrastructure: The college has a good Wi-Fi facility. Moreover, it has a good library, and it has excellent labs. The food served in mess and canteen is tasty, and our college is also good at conducting sports and events. The most important thing is, there is no such thing called ragging on the campus.
Faculty: Teachers are good for guiding students in projects, but always there are problems regarding machines. Every time of practical, All the machines in the laboratory will shut down. Despite that, the college will take you on many industries visit every 6 months, which is advantageous.

Good college but placement is big problem.
Placements: No one is placed. But one can prepare for government exams. For B.Tech it is very good college. Many student got Internships at BARC, EMERSON. Many students studied on own and prepared for government exams during this course and got selected. Now new branch (Design) is opened so nobody takes admission in heat power engineering.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, hostels are provided with Wi-Fi. Good quality furniture and beds. Big playground in the campus for sports activities. The canteen is also good. Veg and Nonveg is served. There is a separate Hobby room for M.Tech students. Classrooms are provided with projectors and internet connectivity.
Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and knowledgeable THIS COURSE NOT MAKE STUDENTS INDUSTRY READY BUT ONE CAN DEVELOPE HIMSELF. Many seminars were organized by the college such as during the course. The overall curriculum is okay but there is no platform to show talent because no company visited college.
Other: Thermal is my area of interest that's the reason I chose this course. The best thing about the course is, New technologies are introduced in syllabus such as CFD.

    Good college for Knowledge.
Placements: There is no huge placement for ME Structural Engineering course in this college. Also, there are some construction companies are available which take interest to hire the students from this college. Some of them are like StructwellL, SP Constructions, L&T, etc. The average package offered is 4-6 LPA. Approximately, 30% to 40% of the students gets placed per year. But this year, they conducted a big hub of HRs from different reputed companies, so there is a chance of getting more placement next year onwards.
Infrastructure: There is a wi-fi facility with 2GB high-speed internet per student with his login and password. The structural engineering laboratory contains every instrument available for students including NDT testing machines. They modified the classroom before two years according to new digital facilities. The library is also very big, and if any book is not available, students can suggest in their register, and the book will be available within a week right there in Library. There is gymkhana for students to play indoor games like table tennis, carrom, chess, etc. A huge ground is also available for playing cricket, football, volleyball, etc. The canteen is there right in the centre of the college which has an awesome quality of fast foods at a very affordable price. There are no issues about the hostel, but there is limited availability of rooms for PG students, that means only four students (male) out of 25. Girls have a big hostel Jijau girls hostel and can accomodate all of them from PG girls students.
Faculty: Out of five, three subjects have very good faculty members available here. Some of them are highly mastered in their subjects like Dr M.R. Shiyekar who wrote first limit state method book after revision of IS code 800:2007. Dr Ghugal has done a lot of research in analytical subjects like finite element method, etc. Since this is an autonomous institute, all syllabus and academic curriculum is decided by the college itself, which is quite helpful for the students. There are sufficient faculty members available for teaching. For the first two-semester, there is an industrial visit for structural engineering students which is related to the subjects you have, and funding of Rs.10,000 for the same is also done by college per visit.
Other: The annual gathering is conducted for students, and the satisfaction with total 4 to 5 days of extracurricular events like bridge making competition, AutoCAD competition, town planning competition, etc.

Don't go for GCEK, opt the college from city that may give chance to place and keep updated.
Placements: No placements through college need to find outside. It totally depends on candidate willing to be placed. For those who want calm in life, it's good to take the admission and useful for the competitive exam preparations. Don't think about the placement on the college campus.
Infrastructure: It is just old college constructed in 1960. In my opinion, it is best. The ladies hostel is on the college campus itself. There is a strict environment for the girls. In case of boys hostel, it is not much strict. But for the undergraduate student, the hostel closes at 11 pm. In that case, PG boys get an advantage because there is no closing time.
Faculty: It's my experience that those who want to take the admission and willing to do self-study for them it is better. As it is the old college, there are a lot of people like me who wants to take admission because the status of the college but this thinking fool us. The faculty members are experienced but it's is not profitable because no one gonna teaches at all expect some lectures. In my view, all are just old thinking people. It will affect the student in the future. In case of the project, no one will help.
Other: The fests are just good because it is just taluka place environment. The connectivity doesn't matter good.
