B.Tech. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2022
3.8
Overall, it is a good college.
Placements: Only 1.2% of students get placed in the civil engineering course. The highest salary package offered is 3 LPA. A top recruiting company that visits our college for placements is Sudarshan Chemical. About 30% of students got an internship here. Engineering time is the best time you ever live, but the study is also important.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi facility is fast. The library is huge and the best. Classrooms are totally digital in our college. The hostel is affordable. Mess is compulsory for hostellers, and it serves average food quality. The college canteen is affordable, and it serves good quality food. Cultural clubs are also interesting for students. Civil engineering labs are totally modified.
Faculty: Faculty members teaching quality is good. The course curriculum makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are of minor difficulty level. The pass percentage is 40%. Two types of passing systems are there, and they are combined passing and separate passing. We are the last batch to use combined passing, and separate passing is relatively hard.
Other: I suggest you prefer CS, IT and mechanical branches. Cultural events are very enjoyable.

Review of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar Technological University - DBATU.
Placements: The college does not provide placements for the civil branch. According to the last few years, the salary package offered ranges between 2-5 LPA. The college does not provide an internship and placements. The highest salary package is offered for IT and computer branch only. A mechanical branch is well compared with other branches.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi facility is not available, but 34 MB data is provided for the students. The hostel facility is good, but the mess is 3rd class. The college canteen is best to have breakfast, lunch and tea. The canteen is the best. Quality of food is served at a very less price in our college canteen. It gives importance to sports.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are good. Their teaching quality is also good. They teach the only syllabus. They do not prepare students for another competitive exam. Exam conducted are very low, so the practice of exam is not done.
Other: I have chosen this course because I like civil engineering course, and I have some attraction on this branch.

Change the faculty members.
Placements: There were no placements for the students of the batches of last three or four years. Placement cell is not available here. No teacher is ready to take responsibility for placement of students. They are trying only to fill their pockets without any work, and they only want one lecture class in a month.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good, but not useful. Only the building appears vast and pleasant but nothing is there in that building. The education system is not proper, and there is no schedule. Only teachers come late to the class, and the students don't get a lecture. Hostel facility also not useful as the hostel is 3 km away from college.
Faculty: The teachers have low quality and are not well qualified. They are only B.Tech passed out. They neither have an M.Tech nor PhD. The teachers show their attitude. Teachers come without any preparation, and they get angry with their issues. They make our life horrible with their ego.
Other: Events are organized.

If you just want Degree no knowledge then this college is for you.
Placements: Zero placements. No placement at all. Very poor placement cell. Useless also if you have distinction. Placement cell never reacts to your wishes. Find other colleges. Any other college is always better than this college. This college have no placement at all for civil seriously.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure of college is average. Main building of college is quite good. But hostels are in very bad conditions. Area in which college situated is ruler area. And weather here is the worst. And classrooms are not enough for all branches to work simultaneously.
Faculty: For civil engineering department the faculty is joke. They hire last year pass outs as a teachers whose basics is zero and they teach us engineering. So decide yourself what type of faculty is this. Curriculum is not helpful for acquiring knowledge.

BATU flash back, it is absolutely good for those student who have a poor background.
Placements: From the placement point of view, our university is not good for the civil engineering department. Also, only 2 permanent faculty members are present here. According to my batch point of view, 6-10 batchmates are placed in private companies. Few of them have started their own business, and the others are doing their jobs in companies.
Infrastructure: The Wi-Fi system here is fairly good, and so are the labs. In my point of view, the study material and library is enough to do a study very well. The medical facility is also not good on our university campus. Sports facility is also not good there regarding the classrooms. I think classrooms are good enough to do the studies.
Faculty: Regarding the course and faculty, the course syllabus is tough with respect to other universities. But, there is a lack of the permanent faculty, especially in the civil engineering department. I recommend this college to those students who have got more knowledge and have a free time.

An average college for civil engineering.
Placements: Overall, the placements of our college are less compared to other government colleges of Maharashtra. Especially the civil department has very less percent of placement since last 2 years compared to all other departments of our college. The packages are offered mostly between 2-3 lacs per annum.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of college is quite good. But the civil department has below average labs and other facilities. Wi-Fi facility is available with good speed. The classrooms are average. Quality of the canteen food is not good. Girls' hostel rooms are below average. Overall, the facilities of the hostel are very bad.
Faculty: The faculty of other department is quite good compared to the civil department. Even they have less experience, they try their best. The syllabus of our department is quite different compared to other universities, but it is knowledgeable. All departments conduct national level event every year which is good for the students.

I am satisfied because of the infrastructure & dissatisfied because of the faculty & placements.
Placements: The placements of our college are very weak or poor, hardly 5-6 students of each class are placed. Only 10-15% students are placed. A few companies visited the college. The students do all arrangments related to gathering on Shivajayanti, Ambedkar Jayanti. 5-10% of the students got internships from the college. The minimum salary of Rs. 10,000-15000 and the average starting salary of Rs. 20,000-30,000 are offered.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is very nice. We have the facilities of a huge library, well-ventilated classrooms, Wi-Fi for each department. The facilities of labs for some departments are poor. There is no variation in the daily food in the canteen, but nowadays this picture is changing. Food quality is good. The hostel rooms are good. Due to heavy rains, top floor has a problem of leakage from the roof.
Faculty: Almost all the faculty members are helpful and qualified. Some of them are not much knowledgeable. Lecture method, diagrammatic representation, showing videos are the methods used for teaching. The curriculum is useful. Some of the faculty members are the M.tech passed out students from the same college.
Other: The college is too good in terms of infrastructure. Students get very much time for self-study as there are no private classes. Lectures are held regularly according to the timetable given by the departments. 75% attendance compulsory & it is taken by an app of the college.

It ws worth the fee.I think the faculty should be more experienced.Internships should be priortized.
Placements: The placements for our senior batch was good; five boys got placed. Only one boy got placed from my batch. The placements scenario for civil engineering is not good. There are many off-campus placements. Our university being in a remote area, many companies are not interested in visiting the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the university is good; it's under development. We don't have a proper auditorium. The space for some departments is not ample. The university road is under construction. The hostels are not good. The architecture of the university is quite good.
Faculty: The faculty members are experienced, but there is only two experienced faculty in my department. There are many freshers appointed as the faculty on the contract basis. The course curriculum is good. There is no scope for internships in our course content. The experienced faculty should give more time to the students. The same staff should be continued for a longer period. IV and site visits are developing.
Other: There is a lot of casteism and regionalism in this university. The funds are not utilised properly. The nature and environment are good. It's worth the money. The college is now developing rapidly. The mechanical and chemical departments are well known. The civil department is very young, as it started recently. The heads of each department are highly qualified. The VC is striving hard for the development of the university.
