A really cost effective college with good environment and absolutely good lecturers.
Placements: Usually, the percentage is about 75-100%. The highest salary is around 30 LPA while average and the lowest are 15 LPA and 5 LPA respectively. Top recruiting companies are Hyundai, Ford, etc. The percentage of students who get internships is about 50-80%. Top roles would be NLC Limited, Steel Plant in Salem, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are well-equipped for their respective department. It's a quiet place, I won't say it's well-equipped for the hostel. But considering the cost, I guess it's enough. For the students, it is the best environment for studies. It's a vegetarian college (don't like that).
Faculty: The lecturers are extremely helpful and knowledgeable. In my opinion, it is the best. It highly depends on students what they can learn from the courses as it will also affect the industries or jobs later. I would rate 8 out of 10 for the semester. It's about 80-100% of the pass percentage.
Other: Generally, I have been interested in electric or electronic devices so I chose EEE. Well, the best thing about EEE is it's really fun and thrilling while learning various aspects of electricity. I don't think so. For me, EEE is enough as it should be. We don't have that much of events going on compared to other colleges.

Review of Government College of Engineering, Salem.
Placements: Almost 80% of students got placed in our department. The highest salary package offered is 4.5 LPA. The lowest salary package offered is 1.5 LPA. Top recruiting companies are CR, Aqua Green, etc. Some top companies visit our college to recruit students.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. Our college provides us with all facilities. Classrooms are neat. Our college is Wi-Fi enabled. The infrastructure of the hostel is good. The hostel is well-maintained. The food served in the mess is good compared to other government hostels. We don't have a canteen.
Faculty: Our faculty members are knowledgeable. They improve our knowledge. Semester exams are based on students' skills and preparation. Semester exams are difficult.
Other: I opted for this course because it provides job opportunities in the government sector and private sector. They conduct symposiums. Our college has some clubs. Some events are held in our college.

100% Genuine review as per final year student 2023 batch.
Placements: Nearly 75% and above are placed in a decent packages starting from 3.5 LPA to 12 LPA, Average LPA (Lacs per Annum) is 6-7 LPA. Mostly ZOHO and Accenture recruit the students. There are core companies visiting our institute nevertheless, they are paying low compared to IT companies.
Infrastructure: All Class room are available with projector and campus is monitored by CCTV. Hostel infrastructure is okay but not that much. This college in particular has Digital library to access course like NPTEL and also for Centre level computer based exams. Medical office is available at noted period of time. This college gives more priority to sports rather than academics.
Faculty: Staff includes highly qualified personnel only, they all are bearing Ph.D. degree with more than 20 years of teaching experience including work experience. Because of autonomous status, students find it easy to score good marks and curriculum is well framed. Pass percentages may vary from regulation to regulations.
Other: If you want to study good quality associated course in professional degree, This is right place for that.
