My research paradise with Angel.
Placements: Almost 95% of students were placed through campus placements; the rest were not enrolled for placement as they planned for higher education. The highest package stood at 14 LPA from Ford, while the lowest was 3 LPA from Aquagreen with a three-year bond. Most of the companies offered Graduate Engineering Trainee (GET) roles, and some were ready to offer associate-level roles. Companies like TCS, Tech Mahindra, JSW, Tekla Structure, and Nissan played a major role in our placements.
Infrastructure: The college management provides good and commendable facilities like Wi-Fi, a library, and smart classrooms, with well-experienced faculty members. You'll enjoy hostel life, although the hostel food is average; compared to other hostels, it's good for the price. There is no canteen on campus, but there are some shops outside the college.
Faculty: The curriculum is well designed, using both conventional methods to clearly understand core concepts and incorporating modern technology in our final year, where we gain industrial experience. The semester exams are at a moderate level, and the questions focus on understanding, making it easy to clear all the papers if we spend about an hour daily on our topics.
Other: The fest in the college is really awesome and serves as a stress buster for both students and faculty members. Events like the Tamil Mandram, English club function, and department functions provide special relief for students, especially for final-year students.

Government College Of Engineering, Salem-11. A short summary on Metallurgical Engineering Course.
Placements: Around 85 percent of students have been placed in the metallurgical engineering department. The highest package was around 4.5 lacs per annum and the lowest package was around 2.5 lacs per annum. The recruiting companies of our course are Hyundai, JSW, Brakes India, Bradken, etc.
Infrastructure: The metallurgical engineering department consists of a corrosion lab, a heat treatment laboratory, a lath workshop, and a mineral dressing laboratory. Free college Wi-Fi with a poor connection and a large library with digital learning. Hostel rooms are reasonably priced and serve excellent food.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified, knowledgeable and teach other college faculty. This course is related to core and teachers make students ready for industrial work. Exams are easy to pass and we have to study more to achieve good marks with distinction. The pass percentage is around 50 percent.
Other: Our batch " GIATROUS METTALONS" (2021-2025) is the great metallurgical engineering. The metallurgical engineering course is one of the rarest courses present only at IIT Madras, GCE Salem, and NIT Tricy. Other than that, the college provides you with few clubs with lots of event, college gceofest, sports, etc.

Placements: Our college assures 100% placement in our department. In the last year 2022, students placed in core companies and also in IT Companies. INR 5 LPA is the maximum package. Top recruiting companies are Bharat Forge Limited, JSW Brakes India, TVS etc. All students can get internship in top companies and institutions.
Infrastructure: Our college has basic needs. Our college has all the required facilities but infrastructure was not too good. Wi-Fi connection is available in each department. Well equipped lab is also there in each department. Classroom have good facilities with projector, library has all books required for all courses.
Faculty: Faculty helps students in many ways apart from studies. They are also imparting the life skills to us and also motivates to improve extracurricular skills. The curriculum is very much relevant to industry. The students will easily be ready for placements with the help of faculty members.

We have a well-developed syllabus and staff with a nice atmosphere.
Placements: Nearly 80% of students were placed this year and 2.5 LPA is the average salary package offered in our college. Also, some famous placement offers are by JSW, Zoho, TCS, Accenture, etc. Nearly 70% of students are placed in the above company in the role of metallurgy engineer.
Infrastructure: The college and hostel have good infrastructure and 24 hours water and electricity facilities are available. There is a free Wi-Fi facility in the college and library. A digital library is also available in our college. The food was nice and hygienic. Sports events are conducted in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and advisable to students. They are well-experienced staff and with high knowledge. Our course is also curriculum relevant and the semester was conducted twice a year at an average level but was highly secure. The pass percentage is nearly 87%.
Other: Our course is one of the rare courses, it is only available in this college. So I chose this college.

Must place to study engineering.
Placements: We had a very wide placement statistics in terms of companies visited and recruited. From auto to IT base, all the companies have recruited our students. We are having a good placement statistics record of 95 %. We are happy to be a part of GCE Salem alumni.
Infrastructure: We had a very good infrastructure facility in this college right from campus to the hostel. The classrooms were neat and clean, and we had a big library on our campus. During evening time, we will be walking out to play indoor and outdoor game activities at our ped centre. We had a good ambience.
Faculty: Our faculty members were like precious gems. All were routed from experienced industry persons who made us be like them. The faculty members have a good way of teaching style, and we had the blessing of them, and they have created many engineering graduates and lucky to be in a single from the bunch.
