Really cost effective college.
Placements: Placement scenario is very poor in this college. Very few campus placements are done here, with an average package of 3-4 Lacs per annum. The maximum package is 6 Lacs per annum. Most of the students try for off-campus placement. Only 10-20 percent of students get campus placement in this college.
Infrastructure: Faculty members are very good, supportive, and well-qualified. All laboratories are very good, and equipment is available there. A library is also available for every student, and all books are available for the course syllabus. Sports events are organized in this college every year.
Faculty: Faculty members are very well-qualified, knowledgeable, and experienced. The course curriculum is very relevant as the new syllabus was introduced by BEU this year. The new syllabus is designed to learn new technologies. Semester examinations are not very easy; they are moderate to hard. Approximately 70 percent of students pass the semester exam, and from this year, exams will be done in different colleges under BEU.
Other: In this college, the placement cell needs improvement. Events and fests are held annually.

Most affordable engineering college.
Placements: 50-60% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 15 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA. Many different companies visited the college campus for placement drives, and the college's placement cell is active. There is a compulsory internship for students in the 6th semester.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and well-maintained. Classrooms are spacious and well-kept. Fully equipped labs are available. The library has all kinds of books, and a digital library is also accessible. Mess food is okay and affordable. Hostels have Wi-Fi facilities as well.
Faculty: All the teachers and faculty members are well-educated and supportive. Some of them are graduates from IITs and NITs in their respective fields. Exams are conducted by the Bihar Engineering University board. Semester exams are slightly difficult, and a minimum of 5 GPA is required to avoid a year back.

Really good infrastructure and affordable engineering college.
Placements: 50-60% of students were placed. The highest package offered was 12 LPA, and the average package was 3-4 LPA. Many different small companies visited the college campus for placement drives like Acedemor, Eco Space, MSME Mitra, BARC, and pool campus drive available by the university. There is a compulsory internship for students in the 6th semester.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is good and well-maintained, and Wi-Fi is also available. Classes are good and maintained. Fully equipped labs are available. The library has all kinds of books, and a digital library is also accessible. Mess food is okay and affordable.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful, all the teachers and faculty members are well-educated, and most of the teachers are BPSC (teacher) qualified. Exams are conducted by the Bihar Engineering University board (BEU). Semester exams are slightly difficult, and a minimum of 5 GPA is required to avoid a year back. Around 75% of attendance is mandatory.
Other: There are a lot of fests and events that happen with a huge crowd and celebrities. About 3-4 events and 4 fests in a year are organized like Mandar Fest and Parvaa Teach Fest.

Review of Government Engineering College.
Placements: Only 25 students got placed, and their packages are not more than 3 LPA or less. The lowest package was 1.8 LPA, and the top package was 10 LPA for the civil branch. The college is not good if you are looking for a good placement. Hostels are also not so good, no Wi-Fi, and the campus is very small.
Infrastructure: Facilities are not so good to enhance your skills; it's just a engineering degree you are getting here. Sessions are short, exams are hard, teachers don't teach properly, it's just a waste of time here. More than 50 students are getting year back here so think before getting into this college.
Faculty: Don't take admission here, your life is going to ***. Think before taking admission in this college. I am studying in this college so I know how bad it is. So just do not take admission, by doing so you are going to make your life good and tension-free. Here, you are just getting nothing.
Other: Teachers are not good.

Government Engineering College, Banka.
Placements: About 70% of students were placed in my college. The highest package is about 10 LPA, and the average is about 5 LPA, which is offered in the CSC course. The minimum is about 2 LPA. Top recruiters include TCS, Wipro, and many mini IT companies, along with some construction companies. About 40% of students get internships, and top roles offered for my college students are in PSU.
Infrastructure: The faculty and infrastructure available in our college include subject-wise labs, a library, and smart classrooms. Every hostel room has three beds, three tables, three chairs, three fans, and three tube lights. Medical, canteen, and sports facilities are also available, and there are common rooms for watching movies. Mess food is okay, but canteen food is good.
Faculty: Teachers are really helpful, highly qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is very high, and they have a friendly nature. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and prepares students for the industry. The difficulty level of semester exams is moderate, and the passing percentage is about 35%.
Other: I chose this course because I am fascinated by signal transmission and how satellites work. Connectivity problems are significant in college, and the government has many events, but the crowd is low.

Nice college with good placement and affordable to every student.
Placements: The scenario of the placements is mixed, if you have good skills and a good CGPA, then you will have a nice placement. The maximum placement in 2020 was 5 LPA and the minimum was 6 LPA. For core branches like CSE, mechanical, electrical, and civil, there are more placements than for IT branches, but it's satisfactory and good as well. Top recruiters for the placements are Nvidia, L&T, Kirloskar, E&H, Tata Technologies, consultancy firms, and Wipro. There are lots of internship companies like Principal, Q Spider, Suzlon, Motors, etc.
Infrastructure: Facilities are sufficient to grow in our college. Classrooms are nice, with Wi-Fi and projectors available for learning, and they are big with good benches and stuff. Library and labs are very nice as they have a good amount of equipment and also nice infrastructure. Hostel is not sufficient for boys. For them, it has all facilities available, but in the boys' hostel, and girls' hostel, there are limited facilities with limited seats, and you need merit for it. Canteen is small but nice as well as mess in the hostel.
Faculty: Faculty members are not friendly but they are supportive and knowledgeable about the courses (each branch). Every branch has almost eight to nine faculty members available to attend classes and lab facilities. For any kind of help, they are always present to guide us. Course curriculum is relevant for now, matching requirements, and as it is under NEP 2020, it provides more than just engineering and variety in education. Semester exams are quite harder than the in-semester exams.
Other: I should recommend this college to take admission for B.Tech and you continue your preparation for higher studies.
