List of 70 percentile colleges in JEE Main

To secure 70 percentile your JEE Main marks must be between 31 to 40. It is not a fixed range might vary depending on paper difficulty level, and number of students appeared for the test. Here are the list of JEE Main 70 percentile colleges.

Q:   Is 75 percent marks in class 12 required for JEE Mains?
A:

Candidates need not have 75 percent marks in class 12 for appearing in JEE Main. As per the official brochure released by the NTA, there is no minimum percentage required for appearing in the JEE Main. The requirement of 75 percent marks need not be associated with appearing in the JEE Main exam.

It is to be understood that 75 percent marks is required for admission to institutes which include NITs, IIITs, GFTIs and IITs. Many institutes offer admission at 60% and even less, along with JEE Main. Candidates must clearly understand that the requirement of 75 percent marks in class 12 is only for taking admission in the institutes.

Q:   What is the cutoff for BTech at NIT Andhra Pradesh for OBC category?
A:

NIT Andhra Pradesh BTech admission is based on candidates' performance in the JEE Main entrance exam, followed by the JoSAA counselling process. The Round 1 of JEE Main cutoff 2025 has been released for different categories of students belonging to the AI and HS quotas. For students belonging to the OBC category, the JEE Main closing ranks ranged between 5741 and 14452. For branch-wise Round 1 cutoff details, check out the table below:

Q:   Which entrance exam is accepted by Galgotias University?
A:

The entrance exam accepted by Galgotias University include JEE Main/ UPSEE/ CLAT/ GMAT/ MAT/ CAT/ GMAT/ CMAT/ NMAT/ CUET. The university conducts Galgotias Engineering Entrance Examination (GEEE) for the BTech course and Galgotias University Management Aptitude Test (GUMAT) for the MBA course. Also, the university is also conducting counselling for CUET-specific courses. Candidates can proceed with the admission process for various UG courses through CUET UG scores by visiting the official website. Apart from the entrance exam candidates also needs to fulfil the eligibility criteria for the specific course.

This is not a good percentile to get admission in NITs but open doors for other colleges. Students must research and consider various factors while selecting a college.

Q:   Is it compulsory to appear for JEE Main for BTech programme offered by Galgotias University?
A:

No, candidates who have not appeared for JEE Main will be shortlisted based on their merit in the last qualifying exam i.e., Class 12 scores. Galgotias University inducts candidates to the BTech programme through merit or entrance exam. For admission through the entrance exam, candidates should have a valid score in JEE-Main or CUET based on which they will be selected for further admission round.

Also, for admission through class 12 marks, candidates must have the required aggregate and subject-wise marks as specified in the university’s prospectus based on which they will be selected and will have to report to the admission cell at Galgotias University for document verification leading to final seat allotment.

Q:   What is the cut off of DY Patil College of Engineering?
A:

The DY Patil Akurdi cutoff 2024 was concluded for JEE Main with the release of the final cutoff list. The cutoff was released as the opening and closing ranks for admission to the BE/BTech, courses. During the DY Patil Akurdi BE/BTech cutoff 2024, the last-round closing ranks ranged between 9793 and 128524 for the General AI category students.
