B.Tech. in Computers Science and Engineering - Batch of 2027

Good infrastructure and value for money. Best government college in the Bidar area.
Placements: Currently, no batch has yet been placed. As our college has opened in the year 2022, still no batch has been graduated yet. Next year i.e., 2026 the first batch will graduate and we can look forward to placements in the upcoming year. As our college is based on government, we are hoping many government companies will come for recruitment.
Infrastructure: This is an awesome college, the infrastructure is more worth it than the fees you put in. We have high-quality benches and larger classrooms, and each classroom has a green board as well as whiteboards for projector display. There are cameras in every classroom. We have filter water available at free of cost daily. Labs have quality systems. Each CPU in our labs is worth more than Rs. 50,000. Canteen and library are constructed new, but still not open. But for the freshers, there is canteen and library. No sports are available for now.
Faculty: As our college is based on VTU, we have to follow every guideline of VTU only, even subjects, schedules, examinations everything VTU decides. We just wait for their order. Faculty is good. Some are excellent and some are not, as in every college. Don't expect every faculty to be the best. One has to put self-effort, into whichever college. The semester exams are average, some easy and some difficult. We follow the PYQ and MQP for preparations and the question papers and corrections are of VTU only.

Our college life and its feature.
Placements: Placements are not yet started as the college does not have any batch in the final year. We as students are trying to have internships. As we are pursuing CSE (computer science and engineering) we can have roles as software engineering and others in the tech field.
Infrastructure: The campus has registered itself as Wi-Fi enabled campus. But there is no Wi-Fi available in the area. Library has not yet opened but a new building has been constructed for it. All the classrooms and labs are well-ventilated and have a lot of free space.
Faculty: Here, most of the lecturers are freshers and HODs are also professors who are somewhat experienced. First semester is the easiest and the toughness level of the curriculum goes on increasing per semester. The higher semesters have more core subjects compared to the lower ones.

I am satisfied because of the faculty, good hostel facilities, but fees could be more reasonable.
Placements: Our government engineering college started about two years ago, and there hasn't been any placement record yet since no batch has graduated. However, our placement coordinator mentioned that companies are expected to visit by next year.
Infrastructure: There is a hostel near our college that provides good facilities, including three meals a day: lunch, dinner, and breakfast. It has a spacious setup and is government-funded. They provide essential kits monthly, including oil, toothpaste, brushes, etc.
Faculty: The professors teaching us are well-qualified, with some holding PhDs. The courses offered are up-to-date with current market trends. The labs are well-equipped with the latest computers, and Wi-Fi is available. The difficulty level of the coursework increases as the semesters progress.
Other: The BE in Computer Science and Engineering is well-regarded in the market and has promising prospects, which is why I chose this course. The fests are not held regularly, and the campus lacks proper grounds.

It is absolutely worth it for the money we put in.
Placements: Still, nobody has been placed because the college has been opened in the year 2022. None of the batch has yet graduated. There are four courses in the college and those are computer science, artificial intelligence, electrical engineering, and civil engineering.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is very good. The college has good labs and systems. Everything is clean and systematic. Classrooms are very good, and benches are available to study. Classrooms have green boards as well as whiteboards. Projectors are available in every classroom.
Faculty: Teachers are qualified. As this is a government college, lectures are qualified. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are quite easy and sometimes moderate as well as difficult. The pass percentage is good.

Absolutely worth it for the money. If your rank is good, opt for better colleges outside Bidar.
Placements: Actually, our college was opened in the year 2022, so no batch has graduated. In 2026, the first batch of this college will be graduating. As the college is good, it is believed and expected that placement will take place, and good companies will come to our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good. Classes are big and good, and the benches are sturdy and of good quality. Projectors are present in every classroom, and green boards are also present. Labs have high-quality systems. Wi-Fi is not accessible for students. The library has a good number of books. Everything is new. The hostel is good. The canteen is currently not available; a new building for the canteen has been constructed, but has not yet been inaugurated. Sports are not available in our college.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is average. However, in most colleges, we have to put in our own efforts and self-study. The semester exams are quite easy as well as difficult according to the subjects; previous year questions (PYQ) and model question papers (MPQ) are enough to pass and score well in the exams. The curriculum is according to VTU.

Q:   Are there any hands-on labs or internships included in the BTech CSE coursework?
ShikshaGPT says
A:

The BTech CSE syllabus is incomplete without regular lab classes and internship programs because of the importance of programming, software development, and AI and ML knowledge required in the CSE field, which cannot be taught only through theory classes.

Premier institutes often collaborate with leading industrial partners to provide their students with the best internship exposure and training opportunities, which may act as an entry point to excellent earning opportunities later.
