No placements, dissatisfied with placements. Only lab is good.

Placements: I am studying in the final year now, not even a single student from our college has been placed. Our college doesn't have placement opportunities. I highly recommend not to join our college for upcoming juniors. Please take admission to colleges that are in Bangalore.

Infrastructure: No hostel is provided in our college. We have to search for PG, rooms, or hostels. Lab infrastructure is good (7/10). If we want BCM hostel, we can join. But it is far away from the college (10 km).

Faculty: Teaching is not that good. Only few lecturers teach well. But they also don't help us with the coding part. We have to study by ourselves for some subjects. Our college has a lack of teaching facilities. Some teachers teach like they are doing seminars, even some of my friends do better seminars than those teachers.

Other: Fests are not conducted. Nothing is being conducted in our college. Only farewell for outgoing students are given branch wise, only teachers and outgoing students will be there in our college.

The college has good infrastructure and facilities, along with excellent and supportive staff.

Placements: No one got placed in campus placements from our batch because there were placements then, but our placement in-charge informed us about off-campus drives. Maybe now, our college has improved in terms of campus placements.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was good. The classrooms were neat and clean with the comfortable seating arrangement. Even the lab facilities were excellent. We never faced any problems during our practicals. The hostel food was tasty and healthy too, and it was like home-made.

Faculty: The teachers of our college are well experienced and knowledgeable. The teaching was so good that even a normal student can understand the concepts easily. The teachers are very helpful in clearing our doubts. They care for every student like their own kids. I am proud to say that I am a CSE student at GEC.

Other: The software engineer was my dream job, so I joined the course. The syllabus must be updated according to the software market trends so that students can be confident to attend the job interviews.

The college has strong academics, solid infrastructure, and a vibrant campus life.

Placements: BE CSE, batch 2025. Around 85–90% of students get placed. The package ranges from 4 LPA to 8 LPA with an average of 10 LPA. Top recruiters include Infosys, TCS, Amazon, and Flipkart. About 70% secure internships in firms like Deloitte, Wipro, and Zomato. Roles in software development, analytics, and QA.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-maintained with smartboards, and labs are fully equipped. Wi-Fi is reliable across the campus. Hostel rooms are clean. The mess food is decent. Sports facilities include basketball and badminton courts. Medical help is available onsite.

Faculty: Professors are well-qualified and approachable, making concepts easy to understand. The curriculum aligns with industry needs and includes hands-on learning. Semester exams are moderately challenging. The overall pass rate is quite good across departments.

Other: I chose BE CSE (batch 2025) because of my interest in programming and problem-solving. The course offers strong industry alignment and practical exposure.

Decent placement but infrastructure needs attention in government colleges.

Placements: In my college, 80 out of 800 students got placed. The highest package is 9 LPA and the average is 4 LPA. There are no top companies in my batch. I did internship last year in CSE department. There are no offers, no high placements, and companies do not come to our college.

Infrastructure: In my CSE department, there are computers and classrooms are the best. Library is good. There is no hostel facility, we need to go 3 km far away which is the government BCM. There is no canteen and no sports facilities. Hostel food is not good and games are only NSS activities. Wi-Fi is not good.

Faculty: Teachers are good at teaching and helpful in exams and internals but sometimes not helpful. In CSE, they are okay. They do not make students industry-ready. Semester exams are difficult. Most students Fails and there is no gap for the backlog, it's difficult.

Other: I chose CSE as it is the best for IT jobs. I want better placement and internships.

College is good with good faculty members.

Placements: Almost all members got free CSR placements for learning software courses in education institutes like QSpiders, Vstand4u, Kodnest, etc., but no direct job placement opportunity. For placement, you need to study on your own and learn for yourself to have a better future.

Infrastructure: Classrooms are good and library is also available. Computer labs are available with all facilities. Classroom has projector facility along with the normal board. No ragging of juniors by seniors is strictly prohibited. There is no canteen facility.

Faculty: The teaching is better, and the exams are conducted under VTU so you need to study hard. The curriculum is better, and passing percentage is quite better. The exams will be conducted very seriously, no copying is allowed and no favouritism will be observed by teachers.
