Review of Government Engineering College.
Placements: Last year's batch of students got placements, with around 10 to 15 members securing jobs in companies like Microsoft, Google, Amazon, and Infosys. Their salary package is about 6 LPA. They completed their internship in Bangalore for six months. Some of them became web developers, software developers, and data analysts.
Infrastructure: We have a lot of facilities in our college. We have 350 computers, and each class is equipped with a projector. We also have air conditioning in the classrooms and lifts, which help us a lot. These are the facilities provided in our college.
Faculty: It’s not that difficult. If we try hard, we can get good marks and write the exam without tension. The paper is set by VTU, so it can be difficult for us, but if we put in the effort, we can pass. Our passing marks are 35. If we get 35, we can pass and clear the subject.
Other: In engineering, Computer Science and Engineering is the best course because we can proudly say that we are future software engineers. I think software jobs are better compared to other hardware jobs. Coding is tough to learn, but for our future, we have to learn it. On our campus, they organise functions like fests and fresher events. This is the information about the course.
