Our college has good placements and faculty.

Placements: Our placement cell is very good. On the basis of my experience, this is a great way to see the efforts of the training and placement officer in our college. The maximum number of students from our batch was placed into top-rated companies. I was also placed at Ericsson Global India Private Limited. Our college has a great placement percentage.

Infrastructure: This is a fully Wi-Fi campus, and all departments have highly advanced labs and great classrooms with smart classrooms. Our college conducts social and sports activities and also represents the college in state-level tournaments every year.

Faculty: The faculty in our college are so friendly. They are always ready to provide us with something new and have great practical knowledge. The curriculum of the course is also related to the industry so that we can properly be ready for it. According to the practical knowledge, students have a great chance of getting a placement and gaining all of the knowledge.

Other: I always had a dream to be in the IT industry, so I chose computer science and engineering. In college life, I got so much practical knowledge about this sector and industry and also all the related topics that helped me to get into the IT industry in a great role.

I suggest you consider the thing this college is under government before you join it.

Placements: The placements in our college just started in the year 2021, and even they are conducted off-campus and not on-campus. There is no culture of placements in our college. Every student prepares for bank exams. Some students prepare for SSC exam, so placements depend on your calibre. Even the highest salary package offered is only 3.2 LPA. For internships, you have to apply on your own, and you will get unpaid internships.

Infrastructure: Our college has Wi-Fi access, but the speed is available only in Kbps. Labs are decent and not equipped for advanced purposes like machine learning and AI. There is a library only for the namesake. The hostel is pathetic, and there is no maintenance. There is no cleaning and no doors in rooms also. Our college maintains hostels only during admission time. I suggest you not to depend on the annexure provided as it is completely false.

Faculty: There are good faculty members from IIT/NIT, but they are temporary. If you expect you will have spoon-feeding, then it's not true. You have to prepare for semester exams on your own. Exams have been conducted in the most neglecting manner like there will be a gap of 5-6 months at providing results. Even only 20% of students will pass. Our university will fail the remaining students for extra exam fees, which is very bad.

Other: I chose this course as per my interest. Events are organised only for the CSE department.

Our college is good, but the environment is pathetic.

Placements: Companies are not visiting our college for placement offers. You have to opt for off-campus opportunities. If TEQUIP teachers teach in our college, there will be hope for placements. However, for enjoyment purposes, our college is good, but you don't expect good placement statistics from here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is decent here, but maintenance is done rarely. Wi-Fi is available with average speed. Both boys and girls hostels are available, but in the boys' hostel, the environment is not much good. There is a separate infrastructure for each department with a separate library. There is an administration building and an admin building.

Faculty: The course curriculum is old here, but faculty members are well educated from IITs and NITs. But they are temporary. Workshops are regularly organised. Some modifications are made in the course, but even some more are required. Internship opportunities in IIT and NIT are available according to your performance.

Other: Techrhythm fest is organised by the CSE department, but it is not organised later. Sports facilities are available.

The college neither provides placements not practical knowledge.

Placements: There are no placements in the college. Teachers have only the knowledge of syllabus which they can't complete in any semester except the first year. If you are a programmer or interested in programming, then you have no scope in this college. The only good thing is the boys' hostel. There are friendly people in the hostel, and they celebrate every culture. They help each other in studies about new technology.

Infrastructure: The college has very poor infrastructure as there is no month of cold. There is no Wi-Fi on the campus. The system of paying the fee is an offline system. None of the processes is done online. There is no ATM nearby. There are no shops, clinic or dispensary. If you are ill, you have to pay Rs. 400 to use the college vehicle.

Faculty: Faculty members are very poor. They ask us questions more than what they teach. Practical training is not provided in labs. May you opt for any branch, but you will have no practical knowledge. The students are never asked about their interests, and they think that every CSE engineering student should learn only the machine language.

Other: There are no events for students to enjoy. Everything is a formality, while sometimes, they don't do the formalities too.

The review of GECJ College.

Placements: TPO cell is developing very fast, in and next couple of years the placements will be increased, and every year mostly 10% of the students get placed. Recently one of our classmates is placed in the Wipro company with the package of 3.7 LPA and students go to another institute to give the interviews.

Infrastructure: GECJ has all the core facilities like Wi-Fi, classrooms, sports, parking all are available on the campus. The quality of the labs are quite awesome, students can use the labs after the college hours also, and students have 5 GB data per day with separate student ID.

Faculty: All the teachers in GECJ have M.Tech degree, most of them are qualified in GATE, and 80 of them are pursuing their PhD. All the faculty have masters in their own field, and all are helpful. The quality of teaching is good. The ratio of students to faculty is 30: 1.

Other: GECJ provide scholarships for all BPL, ST & SC students.

Don't take admission in this college.

Placements: There are no campus placement in this college. The college campus placement cell is so corrupt and on the name of campus placement they give advice and notification of open job fair in other colleges, In my graduation time I never seen any campus placement company in this college, in 2017 when I was in 8th semester, the only company visited here named as go for digital India, and this is a startup by some BCA students and they hired the freshers graduate engineers for door to door marketing, and they give salary just 10000, that the condition of this college I never seen any campus placement in this college, the students self goes to the various job fairs in other institute, and most of them get selected and the college represents in the college website like they placed the students And 0% students got internship from this college, and the students does't know about stipend is really offered by an organisation.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure is good, but present condition is so poor, there are no proper play ground for cricket and football, and no indoor gaming hall. Medical facilities is worthless, labs is good but the teachers does't know operete the machines and devices properly Canteen tender is not taken by any vendor in pass 2 year.

Faculty: Most off the faculty position is vacant, gas faculty teachers and their assistant members takes the 80% lectures The teaching quality is poor, two or three lecturer are good, but other are worthless Please don't spoil your future in this college, and don't take admission. The faculty ratio is 100 per students approximately.

Other: In the name of sport's day, the final year students organised some games and events but college department does not support properly, to bhi honest, I realised that, this is the biggest corrupt college I have ever seen Please don't take admission in this college and don't take admission The students smoke weed and cigarettes, and drink alcohol in the name of extra curricular activities.

Absolutely dissatisfied because there is no ATM, medical service, placement problem, etc.

Placements: The placements of my college are average, and 50-60% of the students are placed here. I don't know about the salary offered to the students, as no student is offered internships from the college. Also, a placement cell is available in my college as it is useful for those students who want a job here.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is very good. There is a Wi-Fi network available here, with all the labs, sufficient classrooms and a library which is very good. There are no medical facilities available in my college. But, the quality of labs and my classrooms are very good. Also, the quality of the food available in the canteen is at a low level, but the hostel rooms are good.

Faculty: The faculty of the computer science branch are very good. They are very helpful as they are M.Tech qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching quality of some professors is good, but some are average. They used some different types of teaching methods according to the students to gain them the quality.

Life at Government Engineering College, Jhalawar (GECJ).

Placements: The placements offered in our college were average. It relies upon how you gain four years of experience in the college. As you buckle down, your future will be protected and secure, so don't squander your four years of time. You should create your own mindset and plan on how to get placed.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is not great, but the college location is amazing. There is no lodging facility available in my college. The campus has a vast open field, but it is not well-developed for sports. The environment of classrooms and labs is good. Recently, Wi-Fi facility is available in all buildings for 24*7. There are no facilities for medical emergencies, sports, ATM, etc., till now.

Faculty: The faculty members in our college are good and very helpful. They always motivate us to learn the latest technologies, prepare for GATE examination, etc. They are well qualified and experienced. Maximum of the classes are arranged in well-furnished classrooms. The student-faculty ratio is perfect, and a mentor (faculty) is assigned to five students. Recently, the new faculty were recruited under TEQIP-III, all of them are GATE qualified and have good knowledge of their fields.

Other: The college conducts several activities like sports meet, cultural events, annual fest, etc., every year. But, the departments are not supporting students to take mass participation in the events.
