Completing MBBS in GMC Amritsar is the best and fulfill your dreams.
Placements: I am in batch 2022 in the course MBBS. People undergoing those courses have enormous opportunities in college and after that as well. There is an internship after completing 4.5 years of the course, and we get a full hands-on experience of hospitals in every department.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are best and hostels are also well maintained. Food in the mess is of good quality and we have all the sports facilities. There are 4 boys hostels and 3 girls hostels. Each hostel has different mess. We can eat wherever we want. Every year, there is a sports tournament.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful and regular tests are conducted to make students learn with regular hospital postings. Postings helps in learning hands-on work of a doctor and help to build patient doctor relationship. Professors clear all the doubts and give great learning.

Best medical college for new found freedom after NEET.
Placements: Im from batch 2022, MBBS placement in the medical field is less of a headache than other streams due to the doctor-per-patient ratio provided you opt for a PG degree. As an intern stipend is Rs. 15000, in PG and JRs get Rs. 60,000. It's one of the oldest and most reputed medical colleges in Punjab, having completed 100 years in 2020.
Infrastructure: Buildings need some development, the ones that are quite old but everything is available. We have Wi-Fi in hostel. Library is pretty nice. Hostels are pretty decent, now there's a new block built for boys which is much better so hostels would not be a problem. We have one the best grounds and sports, there's CISCO for indoor games and a well-made gymnasium. All the departments have good facilities, again I'll say they are a bit outdated but available.
Faculty: Its a professional degree, there is no spoon-feeding, you have to study on your own, some professors are very good, and everyone is available if you have doubts. The demand for doctors is never reducing, so the course relevance is very much there. We have informative exams and half-yearly exams but they are not counted in the report card, only the professional exams at the end of each year carry the whole weightage, those are tough yet manageable. You need to secure a minimum 40% in theory exams and 50% total in theory and practical.
Other: This college provides real college life, as it's a professional degree you have all the freedom no one is invigilating you, how much you want to study or not, it is in your hands teachers don't stress that on you.

It is a really great college with good faculty, excellent sports infrastructure, and food quality.
Placements: It is a very old college, so it has a great alumni network in the country and abroad too. Almost 100% of students get placed. A lot of students clear the USMLE exam from this college, and many of them get jobs after MBBS at good hospitals. There is always the option for private practice, and everyone's internship is done in the same hospital complex.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is a little old, so buildings are also old-fashioned, but facilities are up to the mark. There are both old and new hostels available, and the food quality in the mess is excellent. Two canteens are available on campus, and medical facilities are excellent too. It has sports grounds for football, cricket, basketball, volleyball, tennis, handball, and an indoor court for badminton. A swimming pool, gym, pool table, table tennis, and board games are also available at CISCO.
Faculty: Faculty members are excellent, very knowledgeable, and highly qualified. They provide great quality of learning. The new curriculum is taught, and standard education is provided. The best faculty in the state is present at the college. Exams are conducted regularly, and the exams are moderate to a bit difficult. About 85% of students pass without supply.

Great clinical practices.
Placements: It's a legit and awesome college that provides an awesome MBBS degree which helps us learn how to save lives of people. After completing the course, you can easily earn up to Rs. 90,000 as a medical officer in private practice, if you don't want to pursue a master's degree.
.
Infrastructure: The facilities and infrastructure are excellent. Classrooms are good and spacious with air conditioning and smart boards for excellent visual understanding of topics in depth. Also, the hostel is very good, with good quality and hygienic mess.
Faculty: The teachers are quite helpful and qualified. The curriculum issued by the NMC, which makes a study well-organized, easily. The yearly exams are of moderate type, with a basic focus on clinical competencies, orientation to patient care, rest, and treatment.
Other: College organizes many events throughout the year, with highly interactive sessions. The campus is quite big, along with a swimming pool, a gym, and a sports complex with facilities for cricket, basketball, volleyball, and badminton ground.

All over, it's a good college.
Placements: Our batch (2019) had a group of 250 students. As medicos, we don't get placements via companies but need to build our CV to work in hospitals after completing a compulsory and rotatory internship in various departments at the same hospital. All students who pass the final year get into internships. The stipend we receive during internships in all government colleges of Punjab is a mere 15,000.
Infrastructure: Being a government college and hospital, the infrastructure is lacking. Although they have constructed two new hostels, one for girls (the smaller one) and another for boys, the overall condition of the college infrastructure is manageable but definitely needs improvement.
Faculty: The faculty is well-educated and well-versed, but during our batch, there was some confusion due to curriculum changes by the NMC. However, this issue has been resolved, and classes are now more clinically oriented. Some teachers are helpful, while the majority tend to be less so.
Other: I chose this course because I was inclined towards Biology from the start. Although I never realized how vast and difficult it would be, it's worth it. I wish there were more facilities at the government college hostels and better utilization and transparency regarding the allocated funds.
