Non good for studies at all.
Placements: Placements in our college are very bad. None of the companies are visiting the campus for 4 years. I am much disappointed with the placement cell of our group. Students are not able to get an internship from our college. None of the students got placements from our college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is very bad, and there is no facility for students. Classrooms are not good. There is no separate library, and there is no proper sitting arrangement on the campus. Our college boundaries are in bad condition. Everything on the campus is bad.
Faculty: Teachers in the mathematics department are not good. There are 4 teachers in the department, in which 1 teacher has good knowledge, but they do not take an interest in the class and take the class as a formality. Other 1 teacher does not have good knowledge, and even don't clear the concept. They teach bad and don't give good knowledge. The other one is the HOD of the department who does not give knowledge. There is only 1 teacher who always gives 100% effort in class, but others are lazy and teach very badly. I am disappointed with the mathematics department, and teachers don't even give extra knowledge like other competitive exams. There is no extra activity like PPT presentation and others. Teachers are not helpful and very bad at teaching.
Other: Not good at all our college doesn't have much to tell about. It has quite a decent crowd if you just want to spent a relaxed and just a degree that this is perfect for you.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2021

Review of the PG College, Rishikesh.
Placements: I am from the 2021 batch, and to be very honest, our batch did not had any proper placement opportunities. The college did not provide a good placement cell for commerce students, and because of this, none of the students got placed through the college campus. Most of my classmates decided to continue their education further, with a large number of students gone for Master's like M.Com, MBA, or professional courses like CA, CS, and CMA. Other students started preparing for government jobs like Bank PO, Clerk, UPSC, etc.
Infrastructure: In my experience, the facilities and infrastructure for the B.Com department were very poor. The classrooms were in bad condition, with broken furniture and very little cleanliness. There was no proper Wi-Fi facility for students, and even basic resources like projectors and smart classrooms were not available in 2025. The hostel facilities were also not satisfactory. The rooms were small, and the washrooms were often dirty. The mess food was of low quality and lacked variety. Medical facilities were poor, with no proper medical support for students on the campus. The sports and game facilities were available, like football and volleyball.
Faculty: The teachers were qualified because this is a government college, and everyone was a government college professor and knowledgeable. But the main problem was their attitude towards teaching. Some teachers were helpful when students approached them personally. The course curriculum itself was very basic and covered only traditional subjects like Accounting, Economics, Business Law, and Management, which didn't really made students industry-ready. The semester exams in college were not very difficult, you need to learn PYQs of 2-3 years. The pass percentage was usually high, with 80-90% of students clearing the exam every year.
Other: I chose this course because I had taken B.Com in my Class 11 and 12, so that's why I took commerce. But now I regret it because we had very limited exams for a government job. For example, B.Sc. students can give exams in their own field and other fields, but for commerce, there is nothing. If you want to pursue a career in private jobs, then it is good. The college had NCC, and they organized cultural programmes and sports competitions like football, volleyball, etc.

Bachelor of Commerce (B.Com.) - Batch of 2019

I am disappointed with the infrastructure and placements of our college.
Placements: Placements in our college were very poor. Not even a single student got placed from our batch. None of the companies are visiting the campus since 3-4 years. I am very disappointed with the placement graph of our college. Students are not able to get a good internship from college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college was very bad. There were no good facilities provided for students. College boundaries are in bad conditions, and washrooms are dirty. Even the sports ground is not good. There was no proper sitting arrangements on campus. Wi-Fi was not provided. There were no separate labs and library. Everything on the campus was the worst.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college were good. All the teachers were highly qualified and had good teaching experience. Teachers of science and commerce department were knowledgeable and helpful. Their teaching quality wa also good. The course curriculum was also relevant and good.

Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) - Batch of 2025

Our college provides average infrastructure.
Placements: Our college does not provide placements for undergraduate students. Students should complete the post-graduation to apply for placements. Students from MBA and M.Sc courses got placed in companies like Tata, etc. The highest salary package offered is around 4 LPA - 5 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 2 LPA - 3 LPA.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is not sufficient, but the student union has been working to improve it since the previous year's election. Our college doesn't have its hostel and mess.
Faculty: All professors are well-qualified. They are Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality is acceptable. The semester exams are very easy. The pass percentage is around 30%. The course curriculum is not updated. In the future, the course has the potential to be excellent and prepare students for the industry.
Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. The best thing about our course is that we can do research based on our interests without any pressure and receive good compensation. Our college should provide good infrastructure and update the syllabus as per the latest curriculum. Our college conducts cultural events, games, extracurricular activities, and sports events regularly. It has NSS and NCC clubs. They conduct practical classes regularly.

I think college is good for people who want jobs after graduation.
Placements: In the placement scenario, PG college Rishikesh is the worst for B.Sc. students.  I heard that if there is placement for B.Sc. students, the job profile will be lab assistant in the college. But you can do a master's and a bachelor's from another good college to secure the jobs. Also, if anyone has a technical skill, it will be a bonus.
Infrastructure: In terms of classrooms, they are not well maintained and are also in poor condition. Labs are also not hygienic, but the physics lab is okay. The Wi-Fi facility gives you 50 MB, which is not a plus. The canteen is not available; you have to go outside. Sports are also not good in the college because there is no trainer. Furthermore, the hostel is on the side of the main market, which is a plus, but students living there are addicted.
Faculty: Math faculty is the best in the classes of math; you don't even bore at the time, and Math faculty offers student support for the future, but you have to ask them without hesitation, and this implies Physics and Chemistry, but not all professors. Physics and chemistry are good. Exams there are a very big problem; they don't have a proper schedule, but in 2023 they have a well-maintained syllabus, so I can't say about exams happening in 2024. If you studied just 1 month before the exam, I think you can crack it, but the real deal is practicals there (be alert whenever it happens).
Other: My hometown is Rishikesh, so I pursued a B.Sc. course in PG Rishikesh at the suggestion of my tutor. You can play many sports in college, but remember that for study purposes, you have to push yourself for whatever condition you are dealing with at that time. Events are not good there, but some online seminars are worth it to join; they let you in on the practical and what's happening in the world today.
