Review of Government Polytechnic, Pendurthi.

Placements: Placements are very good in my college. Almost 75% of students are placed on campus placements. The highest package offered in my college is 8 LPA, and the lowest package is 1.2 LPA. Students at Government Polytechnic Pendurthi have been placed in internships.

Infrastructure: Infrastructure of the college is not so that much good but it is okay. Government Polytechnic Pendurthi has no hostel but in near it has a hostel for boys. The college always wanted to be number 1 in education but not in sports. There is not that much support in sports.

Faculty: Teachers are helpful if you listen to their words otherwise, you will be targeted. Almost all teachers are well educated but they come into contact based. Semester exams are very easy to pass but invigilation during external examinations is very strict.

Placements: The course name is Diploma in Electronics Engineering, with the batch starting in 2022 and the passing-out batch in 2025. Nearly 73% of students are placed in our course. The top recruiting companies are Medha Servo Drives, HL Mando Anand India Pvt Ltd, ThoughtWorks, Texas Instrumentation, Efftronics, Royal Enfield, Amara Raja, etc. The role offered is Technician Trainee. At present, the highest package is 3.2 LPA and the lowest is 2.2 LPA. Almost 100% of students get internships from our course in different companies such as Antar IoT, Spotmies LLP, Bharat Dynamics Ltd, My Access Pvt Ltd, Lotus Wireless Technologies, Yellas Technology Pvt Ltd, Tierra Automation, and many others.

Infrastructure: Our college facilities provide Wi-Fi, and labs are also provided with good equipment. Classrooms are well-sized, providing ample space for both students and instructors. We don't have a library. Coming to the hostel, it is a way far from the college, and we don't have a canteen. Every year, sports and games are conducted, and the selected students participate in games.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful, and they are qualified and knowledgeable. The teaching skills are very good. The course curriculum is well-structured and provides a strong foundation in both theoretical and practical aspects of electronics engineering.

Other: I choose ECE as my course because I'm interested in electronics and communication, and when I joined, ECE is the preferred course to get jobs. I don't think anything needs to be changed or improved in the course. In our college, there are no fests, but several events are held. Various scholarship programs are available based on merit and financial background.

The faculty is really excellent, with very well-equipped labs and infrastructure.

Placements: 100% of students are placed. The highest package is 90 LPA, the lowest package is 3 LPA, and the average is 6 to 8 LPA. Companies include Intel, Texas Instruments, Samsung, and Infosys. Internship companies are Infosys, TCS, and Texas. Network Planning Engineer, Embedded System Engineer, Analog Design Engineer, etc.

Infrastructure: The college has projectors, well-equipped labs, very good Wi-Fi, clean classrooms and benches, a playground, a good environment, clean surroundings, and digital classrooms etc. Our college has really excellent infrastructure, and all these things are very well managed by our principal.

Faculty: They are very helpful in the growth of our knowledge; they play a crucial role. Their teaching quality is excellent. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students ready for the industry. Semesters are difficult, but if we study in the correct manner, they become easy. The pass percentage is above 80%.

Other: I choose this course to gain knowledge on hardware. All the smart things are getting high preference in today's society, but the basic things for these smart technologies come from hardware only. It would be better to improve our grip on the basics more.

I am satisfied because of the friends I meet who help me score well.

Placements: 73% of students are placed in our course. Texas Instruments Pvt. Ltd., ThoughtWorks Pvt. Ltd., Medha Servo Pvt. Ltd., etc. Lab Technician, PCB Designer, Web Developer, etc. The highest package is 6 LPA, the lowest is 1.2 LPA, and the average package is 3 LPA. Packages are offered in our college. 100% of students get internships from our course in companies like Spotmies Pvt. Ltd., ANTAR IoT Pvt. Ltd., Tierra Automations Pvt. Ltd., Lotus Wireless Technologies Pvt. Ltd., etc.

Infrastructure: We have big and sufficient classrooms, well-equipped Electronics, Wiring, Computer, Physics, and Chemistry laboratories. We also have Wi-Fi facilities. I don't know about hostels because I am a day scholar. But our friends who stay in the hostel say that the hostel has far better facilities.

Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is somewhat good. The course curriculum is relevant and also helpful for us to get ready for exams and training. Semester exams are not very difficult, they are somewhat good.

Other: I choose this course because my teacher says it is fit for my study, knowledge, and activeness. We need more equipped labs for more practical knowledge. There are no such events, fests, and all, but we have extracurricular activities, sports, and games. Our college surroundings are very green and clean, with mango trees. Scholarships have very less chances. Also, campus selection is good.

Not satisfied with the college.

Placements: Placements are quite good in our college compared to other government colleges. The highest package is 4.2 LPA. The college brings top companies like Texas and ThoughtWorks, but it has a lot of competition and a tough selection process. Remaining placements are easy to select.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is not so good, but it is okay. The main problem in our college is washrooms. Classrooms are quite good with CCTV cameras, but if someone is trying to join my college, the one advice I give is to better choose another college.

Faculty: About faculty, if you want to learn the subject knowledge, it is better to gain knowledge from any online platform or YouTube because the faculty makes you like that. Coming to exams, not only my college but every college offers strict examinations, but from my side, it is very easy to pass.

The top recruiting companies are ThoughtWorks and Texas. Various companies, such as Lotus and Royal Enfield, also take.

Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure in the college are very nice, but there is no facility for a canteen, medical, or a library. However, we have shops nearby to buy our essentials. There is no mess or canteen in our college. Lately, they are encouraging sports and games.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are really good. The teaching quality is satisfactory. The course curriculum is also relevant, but it does not make us industry-ready. Every industry is different, so there is nothing relevant to the industry in the course. Semester exams are not that difficult.

Other: I would love it if they encouraged us in extracurricular activities and also arranged fests.

Placements: Almost 25 percent of students get placements. Mostly, students look to pursue B. Tech as there is much scope for better jobs and packages. Usually, the highest package is around 8 Lacs, but the recruitment is nearly 1 percent. The average package is 3 Lacs or below.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is really good. There have been developments lately in the college regarding labs of all sections. They have also introduced a robotics lab. Courses are introduced to students other than those included in academics. There is no mess or canteen available in our college.

Faculty: The faculty is really helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. The teaching quality is also very nice. The course curriculum is relevant, but they do not make us industry-ready. When we are in internships, everything is totally different. Semester exams are fine. The pass percentage is more than 80.

Other: Basically, I have chosen this course as it allows me to shift between hardware and software. Also, there is a huge demand in the upcoming days. It would be really good if they introduced real-time applications in the curriculum, not just projects in the last semester.

Examination conducted by State Board of Secondary Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana or any other examination recognized as equivalent thereto by the Board of Secondary Education, A.P/TS, such as Central Board of Secondary Education(CBSE), Indian Council for Secondary Education(ICSE), National Institute of Open School (NIOS), A.P. Open School Society (APOSS), 10th class examination conducted by various State Boards of Secondary Education in India with Mathematics as one of the subjects.
