Decent infrastructure and average placements, need better industry exposure.
Placements: 60% of students are placed in computer science and engineering. Highest salary is 18 LPA, and 3 LPA is lowest salary. Top recruiting companies are Elite, Guruji World, etc. Top roles like software developer, software engineer, and sales manager are offered in companies.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure at Govindrao Wanjari College of Engineering and Technology is quite decent. Classrooms are spacious and equipped with projectors and whiteboards, which help in effective learning. Computer and electronics labs are functional but could use more updated hardware and software tools to match current industry standards. Library has a good collection of technical books and journals, though it sometimes lacks the latest editions. Wi-Fi is available across the campus but it can be slow during peak hours.
Faculty: Faculty members are mostly helpful, qualified, and have a good grasp of theoretical concepts. Some professors are very experienced and industry-oriented, providing useful insights during lectures. However, a few tend to focus only on completing the syllabus without encouraging practical applications or discussions. The curriculum covers core engineering subjects but lacks some modern industry-relevant topics like AI, cloud computing, and IoT. This makes it average for preparing students to be industry-ready. Additional workshops and industrial visits are occasionally organized, which help bridge this gap.
Other: I chose this course (bachelor of engineering in computer science) because of my strong interest in software development and the growing demand for IT professionals. The best things about this course are the foundation knowledge in programming, data structures, and computer network that help build a strong base for IT-related jobs. Faculty members are mostly helpful, and the campus has a friendly crowd with a mixture of students from different regions. However, I wish the curriculum included more industry-relevant technologies such as cloud computing, AI, and machine learning. Regular industrial visits and updated lab equipment would improve practical learning.

This is a good college for the money.
Placements: 40% are required for the Computer Science branch, and 30% for the IT branch; other branches will give at any percentile on CET. The lowest package is 2 lakh, and the highest is 4 lakh. There are no companies visiting the college. Internships from college by AICTE are free, and no specific roles are offered.
Infrastructure: There are lots of hostels in this college and good infrastructure with smart classrooms and a library. The quality of food is not great but decent. This college offers Computer Science, IT, Electronics and Communication, Mechanical, and Civil branches.
Faculty:
Yes, there are many teachers with high educational qualifications. The course prepares students for industrial work. Semester exams are hard and difficult because 20 marks are needed for passing, and the college is very strict with active CCTV cameras during exams.
Other: I chose the Computer Science course because of the trend; computers are everything now in this world. The focus should be on practical knowledge rather than theoretical. The college celebrates Ganesh Utsav every year, and the campus is good and has a garden. The Maharashtra government provides a 50% scholarship. However, there are not many extracurricular activities in this college.

Our college provides good environment.
Placements: Students have to try for off-campus placements.
Infrastructure: Hostels are good. A first-aid kit is always available in our college. There is a separate medical room in our college.
Faculty: Faculty members in our college are very good. Exam preparation is good. They conduct many practice tests to prepare students for semester exams. They take separate remedial classes like doubt sessions.
Other: I chose this course because the future is related to computers.

I am not satisfied with this college.
Placements: Our college has average placements. Top recruiting companies visit our campus. The college provides everything, but students are not so disciplined.
Infrastructure: Our college has good infrastructure. The campus is small. The canteen is not good. The quality of the food is not good. Game facilities are not available. The bus driver is good. Toilets are not good.
Faculty: Some faculty members are good. Regular classes are rare, as many students are irregular. It is not a good college.
Other: I chose this course because being a software engineer is interesting. Our college does not organise any events. Our college students have lower attendance.

A devastating place for all the students is GWCET.
Placements: Any students can get placements but a lot of guys try from the institution. The highest package is 2 LPA. Top companies like Money plant investment, and Jetking visits us for the campus drive. No one got the internships. The top roles offered are computer science, civil, mechanical, and IT.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure is very dull and brittle over time. Wi-Fi is not available. We have to use our own mobile data. Our classrooms are good but they heat up a lot in summers food is not healthy. Cheap quality is served. They show a fair price to everyone sports equipment is available.
Faculty: Exams are passed by anyone. Cheating is done easily. They don't value you're hardwork but in the semester you have to prepare by yourself. This college doesn't make you industry ready. It depends on your tuition.
Other: I choose this course because in CSE and IT branches we get lots of job opportunities. Some sort of modifications is required in this college. No event is organised to the date and I have never heard of it. Scholarships are available for about 50%.

I am dissatisfied because of the faculty.
Placements: Here is no placement support available in this college. Previous placements were from 2014-15 years, till now this college has not improved its placement support. Companies like Jetking have visited the college once upon a time. No placement support resembles no internship opportunity. All you have to rely on is off-campus, here engineering is available in CSE, mech, civil and IT, and electronics and telecom.
Infrastructure: College heat up a lot during summer seasons no proper care taken on different scenarios but about fess is very less upto 20000 infrastructure is getting worse day by day crack are there in walls and many more hostel is not proper food quality is the worst.
Faculty: Teachers are helpful. The course is not industry relevant. Semesters exams depend on the RTMNU pattern. Teachers help you with semester preparation, all you have to depend on off off-campus preparation for jobs and you will only get knowledge to pass exams.
Other: I chose this course because the IT industry has a lot of opportunities outside Nagpur. I wish that placement should be improved. Events are of the very least amount and sometimes never happen.
