Courses	Eligibility
BCA	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent in Arts, Non-Medical, Medical or Commerce stream from any recognised institute/board are also eligible to apply.
B.Com	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are also eligible to apply.
B.Sc.	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent with either in Mathematics/Biology/ Agriculture/Home Science from any recognised institute/board are also eligible to apply.
BBA	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are also eligible to apply.
BHMCT	Candidate passed 12th/equivalent from any recognised institute/board are also eligible to apply.
MHMCT	Candidates must have passed Bachelor's degree in any stream from recognised institute/university are eligible to apply.
UG Diploma	Candidates who have passed the 10+2 or its equivalent examination in any stream conducted by a recognised Board/University/Council are eligible to apply.

Generally, BSc Food Science and Nutrition include subjects like Human Physiology, Principles of Nutrition, Fundamentals of Food Preparation Practical, Food Microbiology, Dairy Technology etc. The syllabus might include practical / research work as well  as require students to do an apprenticeship/ internship in the last semester.

Colleges in India generally accept both of these streams for admission in forensic Science courses. Each stream has its advantage. For instance, biology shall help making foundation in study of biological evidence like DNA, serology, toxicology, etc. and a background in maths can make data-heavy subjects and digital forensics easier. Some students also take PCMB for a broader scope in forensic science.
