Yes, students who are a part of the Great Lakes Chennai FPM programme are offered stipends. For the first two years, students are given a stipend of INR 50,000 increasing to Rs. 65,000 subsequently. Other than this, the institute also funds student's accommodations and research work. Even the conferences and seminars to be attened by the scholars are funded by the institute.

Great Lakes Chennai offers a unique FPM programme. As per the institute's official website, the programme is fully funded. Only the students who are willing to opt for a second PhD from the University of Texas at Arlington USA are required to pay the fees.
