Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) at SPJIMR Frequently Asked Questions
Candidates must pass master's degree or a Post Graduate Diploma in Management or an equivalent qualification with at least 60% aggregate or a bachelor's degree in Engineering/Technology/Architecture/Pharmacy/Medicine or equivalent with at least 60% marks to apply for FPM. Other professional qualifications such as CA/ICWA/CS with a Bachelor's degree and at least 55% marks are also considered for FPM programme. Aspirants must hold the documents proving their eligibility for verification at the time of admission. Besides, candidates must also pass a Research Aptitude Test or have a valid score in GATE, CAT, UGC-JRF, etc. for admission to FPM programme.
FPM shortlists candidates based on their entrance exam scores and performance in the personal interview round. The process begins with reviewing the application forms and Research Proposal. The shortlisted applicants go through a two-stage interview process – Research Aptitude Test (RAT) and Personal Interviews. Research Aptitude Test consists of two parts – General Aptitude and Research Aptitude. Besides, the institute also considers scores in CAT, GMAT, GRE, GATE or UGC-JRF. Once selection is done, provisional admission letters are issued to the selected candidates.
FPM or Fellow Programme in Management is a four-year AICTE approve programme offered at the doctoral level by SP Jain. Candidates can pursue the programme in full-time and part-time mode depending on their requirements. Admission to the Fellow Programme in Management (FPM) at S. P. Jain Institute of Management & Research (SPJIMR) is strictly based on merit. The assessment of an applicant is on the basis of his/ her profile, the qualifying entrance scores, and the interview process. SPJIMR communicates directly with all the shortlisted candidates.
Admission to SPJIMR courses is based on merit or entrance exam scores of the candidates. For PGDM/ PGPM, candidates are required to pass CAT/ GMAT followed by a personal interview round. The selection for Online PGDM is based on a personal interview round. Candidates are required to meet the selection requirements for admission to any of the UG or PG programmes. For FPM, admission is based on the Research Aptitude Test followed by PI. Besides, admission to GMP programme is based on CAT, XAT, GMAT, GRE followed by PI round.

Candidates must have relevant work experience to apply for admission at SPJIMR. Aspirants must have a minimum of five years of work experience to apply for PGDM in Business Management and Executive PGP programmes. SP Jain Cutoff 2024 will soon be released on the basis of CAT /XAT entrance exam scores followed by the Personal interviews. CAT 2024 cut offs are released by SPJIMR after the declaration of CAT results. Similarly, XAT 2025 shortlist is also released after the declaration of results. CAT 2024 exam is scheduled for Nov 24, while XAT is scheduled for Jan 7. Also, while the CAT 2024 result dates are yet to be announced, XAT results are estimated to be out in Jan 2024 followed by the release of cutoff in Feb 2024.
