A great option to choose from.
Placements: I’m really proud to be a part of this college. One of the best things about it is the excellent placement support. The college has strong industry connections, and reputed companies visit every year for campus recruitment. From internships to final placements, the training and placement cell is always supportive, offering resume-building sessions, mock interviews, and skill development programs.
Infrastructure: My experience at this college is amazing, especially because of its top-notch infrastructure and beautiful green campus. The classrooms, labs, and library are all well-equipped with modern facilities that really support learning and growth. What makes the campus even more special is its lush greenery and peaceful environment. It is the perfect blend of academics and nature. Ideal for both studying and relaxing. Whether it’s walking through tree-lined paths or sitting in open green spaces, the campus truly adds to the college experience.
Faculty: One of the best parts of studying at this college is the incredible faculty. The professors are not only highly qualified and knowledgeable but also genuinely supportive and approachable. They go beyond textbooks, making learning engaging and practical through real-life examples and interactive sessions. What I appreciate most is how they encourage questions, discussions, and critical thinking. Whether it’s academics, research guidance, or career advice, the faculty are always there to help and motivate students to do their best. Their dedication truly creates a positive and inspiring learning environment. I’m really grateful to be learning from such experienced and passionate educators.
Other: I’ve had a great experience at my college so far. It offers a perfect balance of academics, opportunities, and campus life. Faculty is knowledgeable and supportive, always ready to help us grow both academically and personally. The infrastructure is modern, with well-equipped labs, smart classrooms, and a library that provides everything we need. The green and peaceful campus adds to the charm. It’s a refreshing space to learn and connect with others. What stands out most is the focus on placements and career development. With regular training sessions, internships, and good placement drives, the college really helps prepare us for the future.

Campus with beautiful scenery.
Placements: Campus placement percentage is good, about 80 to 90%. The highest placement is 8 LPA in the BCA course. 100 percent of students got internships through campus. Most of the students got opportunities in Microsoft-like companies. And the college is best for studies.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi connection, labs, and classrooms are well-maintained, and there's also a library where you will find all the books regarding your course. Additionally, sports facilities like basketball and cricket are provided. The hostel is also within the campus, and the food is prepared in a very hygienic way.

It has absolutely beautiful surroundings. It has a small but beautiful campus.
Placements: Almost 50-60% of students get placements from our course every year on average. The highest package ranges from 4-5 LPA and the lowest package ranges from 1-2 LPA. The average package ranges from 2-3 LPA. Top recruiting companies of our course include Birla Sun Life, IFFCO, and Wildlife Institute. A low percentage of students got internships which is almost negligible. The top roles offered in our course are government examinations like in NABARD as AFO and agriculture extension workers.
Infrastructure: We have 2 libraries and all kinds of labs for our course in agriculture and various other courses. It also has 2 computer labs for IT sector students. The hostel facility is average and the canteen is quite appropriate. Sports and games are also usually conducted.
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful. All teachers are well-qualified with PhD or currently pursuing a PhD. Teacher quality is significantly higher. 1st and 2nd semesters are quite easy for me because it has mostly subjects from 11 and 12 classes. However, it increased in difficulty as we dug deep.
Other: I chose this course to gain additional knowledge outside my preparation for the AFO examination. The best thing about this course is that we can learn from the surroundings of the college as teachers do practicals and make us learn by doing sessions.

Infrastructure: The college has a green and vibrant campus with a view of the mountains. The college provides a neat and clean environment with hostel facilities on campus. Hostel food is very hygienic. Wi-Fi, library, and lab facilities are also provided by the college.
Faculty: Teachers are very friendly and helpful, and they have excellent teaching quality. The college also takes students on industry visits. The semester is of average length with a 100% passing rate. Most of the students also get placed in big companies like Microsoft.

A place of green beauty between the mountains.
Placements: Himalayan Institute of Technology has a placement percentage that averages around 80 to 85%. Approximately 80 to 85% of students secure campus placements, with the highest placement reaching 7 lakhs per annum, which depends on the student’s capability. Mostly, 100% of students get internships through the college.
Infrastructure: The college has a beautiful, vibrant green campus and provides a quiet environment for studies. The infrastructure is very good, offering all the facilities related to the courses. There are hostel facilities available on campus. The food quality is excellent, and sports facilities are also available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very friendly, supportive, and kind. They are also highly educated. Extracurricular events, like fests and annual functions, are organized. Semester exams are unpredictable, as the question papers come from Shree Dev Suman University.
Other: I have chosen this course just to learn something new, and in agriculture we learn a lot of subject which gives us a vast knowledge.

Satisfied with the faculty.
Placements: As I haven't gotten the placement yet. I'm sure the college will provide good placements. For an MBA course in our college, we are the first ones to be placed in any company. I hope we will get the best placements, as we are the first batch of the college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was quite good. Facilities are also good. Hostel service is also provided, and it is just next to the college. The quality of food available in the mess is 50-50. Medical facilities are also good. And there are several activities related to sports and games.
Faculty: Teachers are very understanding of the students. The course is relevant as it provides theoretical as well as practical knowledge. Semester exams are not that difficult. Out of 100 marks, 30 marks are in the hands of the teacher, and 70 marks will be the theoretical parts.
Other: The best thing about my college is that it is in the hills. I chose this course because I heard placements are good. Things to improve in the college: they should provide trips to the students, as it balances the internal and external environment of the college.

Admissions to HIT are not complicated but depend on the particular course and the eligibility criteria. For undergraduate courses such as B.Tech, generally, the candidates must possess adequate academic qualifications, which in most cases would be to have passed 12th standard with relevant subjects.
