Himalayan Institute of Technology is highly recommended for computer courses.
Placements: Almost 95% of students got placed from the Himalayan Institute of Technology. The average package offered by top companies like Samsung, Maruti Suzuki, BMW, Kotak, and Airtel was 8 LPA, which was really great. Companies offered very good job profiles to talented employees.
Infrastructure: Amazing facilities were provided for my course, BCA. Everything was really great, such as good Wi-Fi, fully completed labs, and digital classrooms. Other facilities like the canteen and mess were ahead of my expectations, offering clean and healthy food. I also participated in many games like cricket and football. Himalayan Institute of Technology also focused on physical health.
Faculty: The teaching quality was very nice as teachers were highly talented and friendly. The study was highly based on a practical curriculum, as computer labs were really amazing. Most of our classes were held in labs in a practical manner. Exams were semi-assignment-based, which helped to increase our IQ level. The level of exams in the semester was moderate, and the average passing percentage was 98%.
Other: As BCA was a demanding course for the future and I was highly interested in computers from high school, I wished that AI skills would be improved so it would be more beneficial for students to get good jobs. We really enjoyed many events and festivals in our college, and the quality of transportation. The college was really good. It also offered scholarships to many students.

Admissions to HIT are not complicated but depend on the particular course and the eligibility criteria. For undergraduate courses such as B.Tech, generally, the candidates must possess adequate academic qualifications, which in most cases would be to have passed 12th standard with relevant subjects.
