I would recommend others to take admission.

Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is good. They also clear doubts of students. The course curriculum is relevant, and it makes students industry-ready. Semester exams are sometimes difficult and sometimes easy to pass.

Don’t take admission! Hooghly Engineering and Technology College.

Faculty: Not everyone, but some faculty members are really good. The Electrical department lacks a good number of qualified teachers. The semester exam difficulty level is moderate to hard, but can easily be passed if studied. But this also depends on luck because our university is reputed for their negligence in answer sheet checking, so it's based on luck to get passed.

Best among all colleges in our district.

Faculty: Teachers are very helpful and qualified. One can check at college website. The semester exam is really good to verify one's knowledge. Teacher asks the difficulty level of semester exam after examination and suggests a better way to answer. Approximately 80% students have a good passing score.

Satisfied with the college.

Faculty: I am giving a 3-star rating because of the university, MAKAUT. They provide a lengthy syllabus for a 6-month course, but only allocate 3 months of preparation time. Additionally, the quality of the exam questions is poor, often including off-topic questions, which results in receiving fewer marks, even when we write correct answers. On a positive note, our college does a great job of trying to help students in this situation.

Full Review of Our College

Faculty: In my electrical department, there are 50 students and 15 faculty members, including 4 lab assistants and 7 teachers. The student-to-teacher ratio is good. The teachers are very helpful to the students, and we can interact with them at any time. Exams in our college are a little tough.

Think about HETC. Everything you need to know.

Faculty: The faculty members are well qualified. All of them are Ph.D. holders; some of them are also from NITs and IITs. They are so friendly and the teaching quality is very good. If I talk about the course relevancy, it's the same as at other colleges; it doesn't make you industry-ready; you have to put extra effort into the course curriculum.

Should I take admission in HETC?

Faculty: Almost all the faculty members are highly qualified with Ph.D. They are so caring - supportive and conscious about syllabus and our career. The faculty members makes students industry ready and encourage them to participate in several programs like hackathon - coding competition. To pass and get good marks in University exams the students have to study seriously. Passing marks are just 40%.
