IHM Meerut Scholarship Details ,

Scholarship will be given to the students based on percentage of 10+2 or equivalent examination in the first year. Students are eligible for one type of scholarship only be it from any source during the academic year.

(a) Fee Concession for Meritorious Boy Students will be as under:
90% and above - 10% of the fee for the first year
87% to 89.9% - 8% of the fee for the first year
83% to 86.9% - 6% of the fee for the first year
80% to 82.9% - 5% of the fee for the first year

(b) Scholarship of 5% will be given in the subsequent years to the Meritorious Boy Students based on their percentage in the 1st, 2nd & 3rd year examination respectively and if they fulfill the following criteria:-

(i) Get minimum 80% and above marks in the 1st / 2nd /3rd / year final examination
(ii) Have minimum 85% attendance in the academic year.
(iii) Have submitted their assignment by due date.
(iv) Have submitted their tuition and hostel fee by due date.
(v) Have no disciplinary action against them in the academic year.
(vi) Eligible students will apply for the scholarship on the prescribed form.
(vii) The forms will be vetted by the scholarship committee who will recommend the
percentage of scholarship to be given on the sliding scale keeping in view the availability
of funds.

Scholarship for Girl Students:
(a) All Girl students will be given 5% scholarship in the first year.
(b) The girls’ students will get additional scholarship in the first year:-
(i) 85% to 89.9 % additional 3% scholarship
(ii) 90% or above-additional 5% scholarship.

(c) To continue to get scholarship of 5% in the subsequent years the girls students must fulfill the following criteria:-
(i) Have minimum 85% attendance in the academic year.
(ii) Have minimum 75% marks in the 1st / 2nd /3rd / year final exam.
(iii) Have submitted their assignment by due date.
(iv) Have submitted their tuition and hostel fee by due date.
(v) Have no disciplinary action against them in the academic year.
(vi) Eligible students will apply for the scholarship on the prescribed form.
(vii) The forms will be vetted by the scholarship committee.

DEFENCE (SERVING & RETIRED)
(a) All Defence (Serving & Retired) ward’s will be given 5% scholarship in the first year only.
(b) Defence (Serving & Retired) wards having 85% to 89.9 % will be given additional 5% and those getting 90% and above will be given additional 8% scholarship in the first year.
(c) In the 1st / 2nd / 3rd years the Defence (Serving & Retired) wards will be eligible for scholarship as per details given at sub para 1 (b) Boy students.
