IIIT Ranchi Admission Process and Important Dates 2025

The modes of Indian Institute of Information Technology Ranchi course admission are online and offline. Admission to various courses is based on entrance tests and merit. IIIT Ranchi admission is primarily entrance-based with accepted entrance exams as JEE Main and GATE. Hence, the candidates are selected through national-level entrance examinations conducted by different authorities.

Candidates willing to get admission must apply online on the official website of the university. Select the course and pay the application fee. Fill out and submit the application form with the required information. Students are required to submit the following documents listed below while filling out the application form:

Recent passport-size photo
Marksheet of qualifying degree of the final semester or the final year (seventh semester/ pre-final year mark sheet for the ‘appearing candidates' whose final semester/ final year results are pending)
For sponsored candidates, an endorsement certificate from the present employer.
Qualifying MTech degree mark sheet of the final semester/ final year fourth semester/ pre-final year mark sheet for the ‘appearing candidates’ whose final semester/ final year results are pending)
Valid GATE scorecard (as indicated in the application form for GATE candidates) and various other documents
