Yes, over the years, the IIM-A has formed partnerships with leading Management schools in Europe, North America, Australia, New Zealand, South America, South Africa and the Asia-Pacific region. The IIM Ahmedabad PGP (MBA) placement process is conducted in clusters. The first stage is the lateral placement process, where companies interview students with work experience and offer them mid-level managerial positions. In the second stage, the PGP final placement process is conducted where companies were grouped into cohorts (domains such as Consulting, Finance, etc.) based on the profiles offered, and these cohort groups were invited to campus across three clusters for final placements.

While all the courses at IIMA are full-time and residential, the PGPX is a one-year programme while PGP is for two years. The PGPX orientation is to give a general management perspective to a management executive, whereas the PGP is focused on Functional and Operational Management.
