My honest review of my college.

Placements: We had a record of 100% placements. Students got placed, but the initial placement salary was less than what was expected for the course for a few students. The placement cell provided great opportunities to college students. Most students were selected through this. The average package last year was 7–9 LPA.

Infrastructure: Hostel facilities were good, but sometimes we had issues with cleanliness and washing of clothes. Overall, it was better than my previous hostel. The food was good in the first year, but in the second year, it was pathetic.

Faculty: Exams were after every four modules, every two months. Each module was mainly 14 days long, so after the completion of the modules, we had written exams. Sometimes, viva and practical exams were also conducted. We needed to submit projects for some subjects. Faculty was very supportive. The best thing about the course was that every year a mentor and guide was assigned to us so that we could share and discuss our personal and professional goals with them. The course curriculum was good, and the modular system was superb. We tended to learn a lot during the modules and got proper time to memorize the content and understand the intricacies of the subject.

Infrastructure is amazing.

Placements: 1. 100% placement record. 2. Can be obtained from official website of the college. 3. Accenture, Deloitte, IBM, Asian Paints, Yes Bank, ICICI are the top recruiters. 4. Project Management, IT consulting, Marketing etc. are the roles offered. 5. Can be obtained from college website. 6. All of those who applied for in-campus placements got internship offers.

Infrastructure: 1. It's world class infrastructure. 2. Best hostel available with attached bathroom. 3. Excellent hostel infrastructure with amenities such as swimming pool, gym, indoor badminton court and ground for football, cricket and play other relevant outdoor sports. Table tennis and many other things are also available.

Faculty: The teaching staff is really helpful and knowledgeable with majority from IIT and IIM background. Teaching quality is nice and covers all the necessary aspects of business domain effectively. All the relevant cases are covered during sessions and put students on international footings of global B schools.

Review of IIM Raipur - Indian Institute of Management.

Placements: The average package for this batch was 15.2 LPA with the highest package reaching 46 LPA and the top 25% bagged an average package of 21.28 LPA. The internship offers on campus include Nestled, Colgate-Palmolive, Google, and Microsoft. The roles are offered in the domains of product management, sales & marketing, operations, and finance. The number of companies that visit the campus is 130+, including Google, Microsoft, Myntra, etc. The highest campus is around one crore in India, and the average package is around 22 to 24 lacs. 100% placement happens on campus unless someone signs out.

Infrastructure: In the first year, students are exposed to all the domains such as Marketing, HR, Operations, Strategy, etc. This helps in building the foundation for all the functional areas of management and provides students with a chance to understand every domain and find their interests. In the hostel room, the facilities provided include a whiteboard, a cupboard, a table, a chair, a mattress, a bed, a bedsheet, a pillow, and a pillow cover. The quality of mess food is great with a live counter for eggs and juice working daily. There is a wide variety of meals available with extra add-ons that one can pay through.

Faculty: Teachers are brilliant. A lot of them have done quality research and the extent of independent thought is high. Also, they frequently collaborate globally and in India with academia as well as industry and this helps provide a holistic approach to management education. The exams were regular and the frequency was high. However, given the generally rigorous structure at a B-school, I think it was a good practice to keep these things as regular as possible. While the semester exams are held every 4-6 months there total 2 Sem in a year. Exams are moderate.

Based on Academics (Class 10/ Class 12/ Graduation): While a student with average scores in Class 10, Class 12 and graduation with a good CAT score certainly has good chances of getting a call from IIM-A, chances are less for someone with an average CAT score.

Candidates planning to pursue Fellow Programme in Management (FPM), which is a doctoral-level programme offered by IIM Raipur, should meet the following requirements:

Wonderful faculty members with state of the art campus.

Placements: 1. 100% placement. 2. The average package was 14.53 Lac/annum and the highest was 25 Lac/annum. 3. Aditya Birla, Tata Steel, Reliance, Deloitte, ICICI are the major recruiters. 4. Roles are offered in Strategy & Consulting, BFSI, IT&ITES. 5. 100% students got internship in Deloitte, Asian Paints, Intuit, OYO and other multinational companies.

Infrastructure: The classrooms, libraries and other academic rooms are all Wi-Fi enabled with centralised AC. Library is equipped with all the books necessary with E-journals at our discourse. Hostels are single occupancy with attached bathroom and 24 hours hot/cold water facilities. The food provided in our mess is very tasty and menus are different for different days.

Faculty: Teachers are highly qualified and are very knowledgeable. Their teaching skills are very unique and out of the box. All the faculty members have a different genre of their courses and they are Masters in their field. They are very helpful and also share their industry experience to help us better accustom with the corporate culture.

Our college provides good placements and infrastructure.

Placements: Around 100% of the students of 2018-2020 batch got placed from our college. Even 100% of students were placed for SIP in the batch of 2019-2021. The highest salary package offered for campus recruitment in college was 75 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was around 8 LPA. There were around 4 international salary packages as well.

Infrastructure: The entire campus is Wi-Fi enabled. Students get single rooms for themselves, and it helps in self-study. The college is located away from the city in the greenery. You also get to enjoy good natural scenery in the college. The quality of food served in the mess is average, but it'll probably change in the coming year.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are very qualified and helpful. You can approach them anytime. Even they share the email-id and phone number if required. This helps you connect to the teacher whenever required. The course content is relevant and industry-specific.

Placements: The average salary package offered is 15 LPA. The college offers roles like consulting, banking financial service, insurance sector, manufacturing, IT, ITES, analytics, education, advertising and healthcare accounting are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: The campus has aesthetically designed classrooms to enhance delivery and reception of the content during classes and facilitate discussions. There is a horse-shoe shaped classroom with furniture from Godrej aids in the learning process. All classrooms have the state of the art sound and projection systems.

Faculty: In IIM Raipur, many experts work together to shape the dreams of their students. The college has an excellent team of 26 faculty members. They are skilled in management with their brilliant innovative minds. There are professors like Pradyumna Dash, Archana Parashar and Rashmi Shukla as assistant professors in educating students of general management course.

Other: The institute gives a worldwide point of view to every one of its projects and abroad introduction to its students. Our institute provides students with exposure to the world through its projects and about abroad. It provides the best education. It has excellent placements.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students received summer placement offers. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA for the internship duration. Top recruiting companies like Tata Steel, Deloitte, LinkedIn, TVS Credit, ICICI Bank, etc., visit our college for placements. Roles like sales, marketing, IT and finance are offered to the students.

Infrastructure: The college provides facilities like air-conditioned classrooms, 24 hours high-speed Wi-Fi facility, full-fledged library, single bed hostels with radiant cooling and good quality food with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. There is also round the clock medical officer is available. Ambulance facility is also available in case of emergency. Games like badminton, football, squash, table tennis and cricket are available.

Faculty: Teachers in our college are highly qualified and experienced. The majority of the teachers have both industries as well as academic experience. Many of them are Harward trained. The course curriculum is revised every year based on feedback from students and academic committee. Relevant new case studies are introduced in all subjects every year.

Other: IIM Raipur is frequent winners of many national and international management competitions like Tata Steel-a-thon, TVS Credit EPIC, V-Guard and Hero.

College experience of a student in IIM.

Placements: Recently 100% placements have been achieved in Summers. The final placements report is yet to come. Most of the companies came for the sales and marketing profiles. There are some regular recruiters who they annually visit and pick up the candidates.

Infrastructure: The new campus was built last year. There are 5 hostels at present and 1 sports building which has a gym, badminton courts, swimming pool. The mess is very large and can easily accommodate 500 people at one time. But the food quality is not good because of the caterers.

Faculty: The number of faculty is very less when compared to the old IIMS. The institute is recruiting faculty every year and there are some visiting faculty from other colleges who come to teach some courses in the curriculum for both the years. Quality of teaching is average and it will increase with the new recruitment.

Will my IIM Raipur fee be refunded if I withdraw admission?

A candidate who wishes to withdraw admission from IIM Raipur, will be refunded the entire fee paid by the candidate after deduction of INR 1000. Candidate who withdraws after the last date as specified by the institute, the fee will be refunded after deducting hostel and other charges applicable.
