The college is improving in all aspects.

Placements: Almost all the FPM students got either an assistant professor job in various institutions or opted for post-doctorate. Only a few students are interested in campus placements. Consultant profile is one of the most demanded roles. Research department is the second best option.

Infrastructure: The buildings are newly constructed. Still, the sports complex and other blocks are under construction. Food provided is above average. Single accommodation is available for all students. Library, medical facilities, and simulation labs are good. High-speed Wi-Fi facility is available.

Faculty: The faculty members are one of the pillars of this institute. Research and teaching are their main priorities. The student-faculty ratio is not adequate, but recruitment is ongoing. Few faculty members have good industry experience, and few have done post-doctorate.

Other: The cutoff for this institute is increasing every year that shows the position of this institute. It is the best institute among new IIMs for research.

We are happy to have our big, new campus.

Placements: Placements of IIM, Raipur are comparable to IIM, Ranchi. Almost all the eligible students in a batch size of 201 got placed. I'm in the 1st year, but I came to hear and I have also seen in the placement report that the highest package offered was around 22 LPA while the average salary offered was around 12 LPA. Companies like Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Deloitte, Birla Gold, Chain Point, and many others visit the college to hire the students. Among the jobs offered, around one-third are in sales and marketing, around one-fourth in operations, and 20% in finance and HR. I'm not clear about how many students got the summer internships. Google offered internships in SIP. Deloitte offered a stipend of Rs. 50,000 per month, ICICI Bank offered Rs. 85,000 per month. L&T Finance visited the college recently, and many other companies are yet to come. Last year, the highest stipend offered was around 2 LPA and the average stipend offered was around Rs. 70,000 per annum. There is a placement cell in the college which is working hard, and we are seeing the increase in the number of companies that are visiting the college.

Infrastructure: Recently, our college was shifted to the new campus. So, everywhere, there are some messes and technical glitches. Wi-Fi is not working properly. The library building is under construction. There is an ambulance, and a physician is available for 5-days, and a gynaecologist is available for 2 days. The building for sports activities is under construction. Table tennis is the only game that we can play for now.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are good and highly qualified. Teaching is more interactive if the students actively participate. They use whiteboard and presentations for teaching. Case-study and surprise quizzes are regularly held. The medium of instruction is English. The number of students in the present batch is 210, and there are around 25 faculty members in total. Thus, the student to faculty ratio is 9:1. Students go for SIP, where they get industry exposure. Google, Deloitte, and ICICI Bank already visited the college and offered internships to students. I felt that the course is relevant as it includes case studies that are discussed at IIM-A.

Other: Around 9 clubs and 12 committees are working to conduct various events in the college. Sports like cricket and kabaddi were organised. Guest lectures were conducted recently by Kartavya committee. Roads connecting the college are good, but the medium of transport lacks as it is located on the outskirts of Raipur city. The campus surroundings consist of fields and greenery. Lots of activities are conducted in the college so that you feel the life at IIM, and you'll miss this once you go out of the college.

Absolutely satisfied with college campus, facilities but definitely needs improvement in placement.

Placements: Since it is an FPM programme as such no companies directly come for the placement for FPM batch. But after completing FPM from here there are various opportunities in industry as well as in academics. Some of our seniors have been in colleges and some have choose the industry side as well.

Infrastructure: The new campus of IIM Raipur that is in Atal Nagar is in around 200 acres. It's very beautiful away from the chaos of the city. It is still under construction but once it will be fully ready I feel it would be one of the best campus in india. All the classrooms are well-equipped with all modern classrooms facility. The academic block has Wi-Fi connectivity. Centrally air conditioned, automatic lighting facility with sensors. The canteen is also good with a huge dining hall of 1000 students capacity that is centrally air conditioned. However the quality of food needs a huge improvement. In hostels all rooms have single occupancy with attached washrooms.

Faculty: Teachers in the institute are very helpful, highly qualified, devoted for the upliftment of students and the institute. The pedagogy of teaching is also case based, activity based and they are accessible. We also got industry exposure from guest lectures by industry experts.
