Commonly asked questions On Fees and Eligibility
Candidates are required to take the Common Admission Test (CAT) to gain admission to the flagship programme, MBA in General Management, at IIM Ranchi. The CAT also serves as the entrance exam for the MBA-HR and MBA in Business Analytics programmes offered by the Indian Institute of Management (IIM) Ranchi. To proceed with the admission process, candidates must meet the sectional cutoff and overall cutoff. Once they achieve the necessary CAT percentile, the shortlisted candidates will be notified of the specific dates for their Personal Interviews.
For admission to the Executive MBA programme of IIM Ranchi, candidates have to go through the Personal Interview (PI) process only, the candidate must have at least 5 years of full-time work experience to be eligible for this programme.
The cost of IIM Ranchi MBA is INR 17.50 lakh which includes acceptance fee, tuition fee, caution deposit and Alumni fee.

The flagship course at IIM Ranchi is the MBA. The selection process for this programme is quite rigid. Students undergo the Common Admission Test (CAT), one of the most challenging entrance examinations in the nation, followed by a Written Ability Test (WAT) and Personal Interview to get selected.
