Overall best College for MBA in Human Resource Management Course.
Placements: At our college, about 97% of students are enrolled in our course. The maximum wage is 29 LPA. The minimum wage is 7 LPA. The average wage is 17 LPA. Axis Bank, Tata Motors, and Microsoft were the top performances. 92% of students received internships. Top positions include HR and Manager, among others.
Infrastructure: IIM Ranchi currently does not have a campus. The academy and guest house are located in distinct areas. Students take college buses from hotels to classes. The hotel is located in the Khelgaon Housing Association and has good facilities. The classroom is likewise outfitted with all necessary amenities.
Faculty: The lecturers were really helpful in class. The semester examination is of a medium level. The cutoff rate ranges between 60% and 75%. Students here must also learn at their own pace. Depending on the courses you take, the institution will also give you all of the necessary practical skills and knowledge.

Review of IIM College Ranchi
Placements: 98% placed. The highest 27lpa. The lowest 8lpa. Avg 12lpa salary offered. Flipkart, Deloitte, ey, IBM were top recruiters . 100% got an internship for which top companies were Flipkart, Deloitte, ey, ola, Wipro. Top roles were hr consulting, recruiting, learning and development, hr business partner.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi was available. No proper classrooms, labs, or libraries were available. The hostel is the best with all facilities and personal room for all students. Food quality was above average. Medical facilities were available. No proper canteen and sports were available.
Faculty: Most of the teachers were qualified and knowledgeable. All were helpful. Teaching quality was above average. The course curriculum was relevant. It almost makes students industry-ready. No college can make us 100% industry-ready as companies' requirements are different.

There are amazing placements, but there is no permanent campus.
Placements: HR branch had 64 students, while GM branch had 240 students. HR courses are entirely different. Companies like Deloitte USI, EY, Flipkart, Aditya Birla Capital, DE Shaw, Samsung, ICICI, etc., visit our college for placements. The highest salary package was offered by DE Shaw, and it was 28 LPA, while the lowest salary package offered is 9 LPA. The average salary package offered will be up to 12 LPA. Roles like talent acquisition and HR business partner are offered.
Infrastructure: The most difficult thing is our college doesn't have a permanent campus. Classes are held in a makeshift at a satellite campus. Hostels are situated in Khelgaon. The commute to our college is through college buses, which is time-consuming. Hostel rooms are spacious and are single occupancy.
Faculty: In-house faculty members are not good here, and they have poor knowledge and poor teaching skills. However, they are PhD holders, but can't communicate with students. Most of them are from IIM Lucknow. Few guest faculty members are from XL, IIM I and other corporates, and they are really good.
Other: For HR course, this college is a good option. Peer learning and networking are good in this course.

Review of IIM Ranchi - Indian Institute of Management.
Placements: Placements in our college were excellent. Placement rate was almost 100% this year, like every year. The highest salary package offered was around 30 LPA. The average salary package offered was 12 LPA. Summer internships were also excellent. Companies like JP Morgan& Chase, Accenture, L&T, Sonny, Google and other companies visited our campus for recruitment.
Infrastructure: IIM Ranchi does not have its campus until now. The academic building and the hostel building are at two different locations. Students commute from hostels to classrooms via college bus. The hostel is situated in Khealgaon housing society and the facilities provided in the hostels are excellent. The academic building is also fully equipped with all the required facilities.
Faculty: There are some great faculty members at IIM Ranchi. All of them are PhD Holders. They possess enough experience in their respective domain. There are also visiting faculty members from various renowned institutions like MDI, IIM Lucknow, etc. The course curriculum was well-designed.

IIM Ranchi- why should you be here than anywhere else.
Placements: PGDHRM 2012-14 was the pioneer HR batch. The placements, compared to the PGDM batch, were relatively weaker as many companies have a policy of visiting the campuses who are a certain age.
Within HR, 75-80% of the batch was appropriately placed for summers. While for finals, this number dropped to almost 65%.
Core HR roles were offered to the batch from across a spectrum of industries, ranging from pharmaceutical, BFSI, power, manufacturing, PSU, consultancy etc.
The average package for all students placed through the campus came to be 5-6 LPA.
Infrastructure: IIM Ranchi boasts of the best-in-class infrastructure and facilities. Having spent two years there, I realized nothing that could ever be boasted about the college and its infrastructure will be "boasting". There are highly modern classrooms, a state of the art library, an e-library and a convention hall which are all done in pastel white and green, and gave the entire campus a very warm and somber yet a professional look, for a top-class B-school.
The hostel was a different world altogether. It was set amidst the scenic beauty of Ranchi, away from the population of the city, self-sufficient and pure. The single occupancy rooms gave the students enough space to be on their own while living in a community at the same time. The mess served 4 meals out of which breakfast and evening snacks were mostly edible. Additionally, there was a canteen for those looking for mid-night snacking, better and tasty food.
While the campus was situated in the heart of Ranchi, right opposite to the CM's house, the hostel was 10 km away. This posed a challenge of commuting. However, a very dedicated committee was run by the students and enough transportation was provided by the college administration to ensure that everyone reached the classes and back to the hostel on time.
Faculty: The faculty members at IIM-Ranchi make the college stand a world apart from the rest. Their vision for the college, their dedication and their hard-work showed in the way they created the college from the foundation stone to what it is today. They felt like a part of our small family. They were very approachable, highly qualified and knowledgeable. They were adept in teaching the modern way, using PPTs, administering quizzes online and using various electronic modes of sharing knowledge and enabling discussions even outside classrooms. The student-faculty ratio would have been 20:1 for permanent faculty members. The industry exposure was built-in in the curriculum by way of internships, live projects, industry visits, guest lectures, and subjects being taught by industry experts.
The course curriculum, still, is highly contemporary, with some really abstract subjects being a part of it. The management and board must be applauded for creating a curriculum which addresses the issues faced by the businesses today and defines a new way of thinking by going back to the basics.

Other: The college has shown steady improvements in its placements and the quality of pedagogy. The program is well received by the industry and the rising placement numbers is a testimony to it. The focus should be on increasing the permanent faculty. The placements are rolling, so, it can take 3-4 months. The campus life is good.

Other: Started with 5 other IIMs in the year 2010, IIM Ranchi has grown in leaps and bounds to establish itself as one of the best B-Schools in India in a span of 5 years. Notwithstanding the absence of a permanent campus and a permanent director among many other constraints, IIM Ranchi has established a strong foothold in terms of MBA education in India. Its strength lies in an optimum batch size of 120 students and a dedicated HR programmer (first of its kind among all other IIMs). The students of IIM have won prestigious awards like Mahindra Warroom, Deloitte Maverick, CFA Research Challenge at National level giving a tough fight to the more established IIMs and other B-Schools. IIM Ranchi has also conducted its first management fest "Agon" and the first cultural and sports fest "Rush" that saw a huge footfall and gained much popularity among B-Schools. The campus life at IIM is also great with one of the finest hostel rooms provided across any other B-School. In spite of many constraints like infrastructure and permanent faculties, IIM Ranchi students have made their presence felt at the national stage and are roaring to break into the top 10 list in a couple of years more.

Having good campus with good teacher.
Placements: The percentage of placement is nearly 50 to 55%. The highest package offered is 59.6 LPA and the lowest package is Rs 80,000 per month. Many companies like Amazon, Flipkart, Microsoft, and Google are the major recruiters. Maximum students get their placement through their hard work. So, it depends upon the individual student.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good and the campus is well-designed. The hostel and the mess food were little poor. The medical facilities are good and doctors and nurses are available on our campus. Sports events were also organised regularly with prizes awarded to the winner like scholarships.
Faculty: The teachers were very helpful during academic sessions. Semester exam were on medium level. The passing percentage was 80% to 85%. Here, students are required to study in their own way also. Based on the course you take, the college would give you all the practical skills and knowledge of that subject also.
Other: I chose this course because I felt that this is the course in which I can succeed. The campus and surroundings were naturally good and was peaceful also.

With 77 percentile, you cannot get call from any IIM, so there is no use to apply for IIMs.
If you want MBA from private college, then you should apply.
