IIM Rohtak BBA LL.B. Courses & Fees

The IIM Rohtak extension campus (Gurugram) recently started offering the BBA/LLB programme. Your CLAT rank of 13384 is decent enough to get an interview call from IIM-R for admission to this course. However, admission to this course depends on many factors, including: 1. Your score up to class 12th must be above 60%. 2. Your performance in the online Personal Interview round 3. The number of available seats for CLAT-based admission and the comparative CLAT ranking of applicants.

IIM admisison to the MBA course is based on a valid CAT score, followed by Written Ability Test (WAT) and Group Discussion & Personal Interview (GD &PI). CAT 2023 cut offs for IIM admission are estimated to be in the range of 95-100 percentile for General candidates. For top IIMs such as IIM Ahmedabad, IIM Bangalore and IIM Calcutta, among others, the minimum CAT cut off is 90 percentile and the maximum can go upto 100. IIM Rohtak estimated CAT cutoff 2023 (percentile) will range between 92 and 94 for the General category students.  

So, considering the previous year trends and estimated CAT percentile for IIM Rohtak, students with 70 percentile cutoff will not be able to get into IIM Rohtak. Candidates can get admission to other B-Schools like XIME, Bangalore and LIBA, Chennai with 70 percentile CAT cutoff. 

 

For admission to IIM Rohtak BBA LLB/ IPL course, candidates must fulfil the minimum eligibility criteria. This is a five-year integrated course of UG & PG. In order to get admission to this course, candidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 60% aggregate (for General category) in any stream. Further, candidates belonging from reserve categories such as SC/ ST or PwD are given a relaxation of five percent. These candidates must pass Class 12 with minimum 55% aggregate. The minimum age limit for all candidates to apply for BBA LLB/ IPL course at IIM-R is 20 years. 

IIM Rohtak BBA LLB application process is completely online. Before filling out the form, candidates must go through the eligibility criteria. Yes, the admission to the IIM Rohtak IPL or BBA-LLB course is based on CLAT (Common Law Admission Test) exam. The college invites students for PI on the basis of post academics and CLAT score. Futher, candidates who do not qualify or appear for CLAT can also appear for IPM Aptitude Test (AT), which is conducted in four sections (Quantitative Ability, Logical Reasoning, Verbal Ability, and Legal Reasoning) at the institute.

The hostel fees of IIM Rohtak depend on the type of accommodation. As per an unofficial source, IIM Rohtak hostel fees are INR 25,000 per academic year. However, this charge does not include mess and other charges. As per the 2025 brochure available on the official website of the institute, some of the additional charges are provided below, which will be paid by students who opt for hostel accommodation. Electricity, maintenance, and other charges will be paid by the students as per the usage.

IIM Rohtak accepts CAT scores for admission to the MBA/ PGDM courses. IIMs, however, do not release CAT cutoffs in the public domain and are exclusively accessible only via account login to candidates who have appeared for the exam. Candidates with a Bachelor's degree with at least 50% aggregate or equivalent overall grade point average in any discipline can apply for the EPGDSM course at IIM Rohtak. Additionally, applicants with some work experience in the relevant field are given preference. At the time of form filling and admission, candidates shall have the important documents such as bachelor's degree mark sheets, photo identity proof, etc. or else candidates are considered ineligible.

To get admission to EGPDSM course at IIM Rohtak, the minimum eligibility is to get a UG degree with minimum 50% aggregate in the last qualfiying exam of the undergraduate course. Further,   applicants with some work experience in a relevant field will have an added advantage. IIM Rohtak shortlists students by conducting an online Sports Aptitude Assessment Test. The final selection is done based on the performance of candidates in PI round. 

Candidates who qualify for the eligibility and any other entrance exam for the respective courses are called for an interview round. The questions asked in an interview round depend upon the course for which the students are interviewing. In addition, the difficulty level of the questions also varies as the questions for certificate admission interviews shall be easier than that for MBA course admission. However, a candidate must brush up on the basics before the admission round. 

 

IIM Rohtak will conduct the IPM AT counselling for admission to the five-year integrated course. Talking about IPMAT cutoff 2025 for the General category students, the cutoff score stood at 381.

The last year IPM AT cutoff for ST and SC categories student stooad at 230 and 138, respectively. So, if a candidates belongs to these two categories can get admission at IIM Rohtak. 

Yes, all the candidates have to fill out the registration form of IIM-R separately to apply for admission at the institute. Before applying for the PGP/ MBA course at IIM Rohtak, candidates must secure a valid percentile in the CAT entrance exam. IIM Rohtak application process is completely online. The candidate should have passed Class 12 or equivalent with a minimum of 60% aggregate for General category students. Students belonging to the SC/ST/PWD (DA) category will be given a concession of 5% in the total aggregate. This means, the candidates belonging to these categories should have a minimum of 55% aggregate to qaulify for the exam. Moreover, the selection process includes IPM Aptitude Test.
