For getting into a prestigious IIMs like IIM Bombay, IIM Kharagpur, One need to score a percentile of more than 98. However, if you score nearly 92 to 95, you will mostly get few IIMs like IIM - Vizag, Jammu, Nagpur, Amritsar, etc. and if you get above 95 percentile, then you can expect a call from better IIMs like Kashipur, Ranchi, etc. So, it is quite obvious that because of stiff competition, you won't get admission into IIMs with a percentile of 90. With the growing competition every year, students must target more than 95 percentile for ensuring their chances of selection.

IIM Visakhapatnam accepts CAT scores for admission to the management courses. However, the institute does not release the CAT cutoffs in the public domain and is exclusively accessible only via account login to candidates who have appeared for the exam. IIMs accept both sectional and overall cutoff for admission. CAT 2024 cutoff will be tentatively declared in the month of Jan. Considering the previous year trends, the final CAT cutoff 2024 is expected to be in the range between 92-94 for IIM Visakhapatnam.

The estimated qualifying CAT cutoff 2024 is 80 for the General category students.
