IIT Goa offers a four-year BTech programme across four specialisations. Admisison to all these BTech courses at all IITs is subject to a valid score in JEE Main and JEE Advanced. All BTech specialisations available at IIT Goa along with their seat intake are mentioned below:

Aspirants who have completed a master's degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology or equivalent with at least 60% aggregate or CPI 6/ 10 or equivalent (55% aggregate or CPI 5.5/10 for SC/ ST) with a minimum of two-years of work experience at the time of application are eligible to apply for part-time PhD programme.
Candidates who have completed bachelor's degree or master's degree in Science/ Engineering/ Technology at least 60% aggregate or CPI 6/ 10 or equivalent (55% aggregate or CPI 5.5/10 for SC/ ST) can also apply. Aspirants need to have a four-year of experience after bachelor's degree and one-year experience after master's degree.
IIT Goa CSE cutoff 2026 for the EWS AI category was 886 in the first round. Hence, candidates who want admission at this institution in the first round need to attain a rank of at least 886 or below. The lower the rank, the better.
The IIT Goa JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 was published for the first round for different AI quota categories. Students who gave the JEE Advanced exam have to also appear for the counselling process to be considered eligible for a seat in any of the BTech courses. For more information, click here.

IIT Goa admission 2025 are currently open. Below are ongoing events at IIT Goa:
- The GATE COAP counselling 2025 has now concluded with the release of Round 10 seat allotment offers for admission to ME/MTech courses. The GATE 2026 registration is anticipated to begin in the fourth week of August 2025.
Candidates applying for PhD course at IIT Goa have to pay a non-refundable application fee of INR 200. There is a relaxation in the application fee for SC/ ST/ PwD/ EWS/ female candidates. The fee for such aspirants is INR 200. Aspirants need to pay the application fee via any of the online payment modes.
IIT Goa applications usually open in second week of June every year. The applications closes by the end of June. The institute also conducts a written test followed by interview to shortlist aspirants for the PhD programme. Aspirants with a valid score in GATE, UGC-NET, CSIR-NET, etc. can also apply for the PhD course.
Merit-cum-Means scholarship is offered to non-SC/ST students at IIT Goa. This scholarship is available for BTech programme students and is awarded to a maximum of 25% of the sanctioned intake of undergraduate students. No, you cannot get admission to IIT Goa with a rank of 2267 in the IIT JAM exam. As per the IIT Goa cutoff 2026, the round three closing ranks ranged from 775 to 792 for the General AI category. Hence, admission to this college with the attained rank is not possible.

IIT Goa JAM cutoff 2026 was released up to the third round for different AI quota categories. For the General AI category, the round 3 closing ranks ranged from 775 to 792. So, General AI category candidates need to attain a rank of at least 792 to be elgible for admission.

Your Class 12 marks does not matter for admission at IIT Goa for the MSc courses. For admission at this IIT for the MSc programme, you would need to first have a Bachelors degree with at least 55% marks for the General and OBC categories (50% marks for the SC, ST and PWD categories).

IIT Goa JEE Advanced cutoff 2026 has been released for the first round for admission to the BTech course and its various branches. The cutoff was out for different AI quota categories.
