Yes, IIT Hyderabad has a fee refund policy for B.Tech in Engineering Science. According to the institute's rules, a student is eligible for a refund if they withdraw from the programme within specific deadlines. The refund amount varies depending on the time of withdrawal.
Here are some key points regarding the refund policy:
Full Refund: If a student withdraws before the commencement of the semester, they are eligible for a full refund of the fee paid, excluding the caution deposit and other non-refundable fees.
Partial Refund: If a student withdraws after the commencement of the semester but before a specified deadline (usually within the first few weeks), they may be eligible for a partial refund. The exact percentage of the refund depends on the time of withdrawal.
No Refund: After a certain period, usually a few weeks into the semester, no refund is given if a student decides to withdraw from the program.
It's important to note that these policies can change, and there might be specific conditions or exceptions based on individual circumstances. For the most accurate and up-to-date information, it's best to consult directly with IIT Hyderabad's admissions or finance office.
