The Indian Institute of Technology Hyderabad scholarships vary from merit to means. Placements: The course I chose, engineering physics is more research-oriented. This year, only 5 out of 25 students got placed. But I am sure only 10-15 applied for placements as most are inclined to research. Internships are offered by multiple types of companies like software companies but also other ones like LIGO. Some people did internships in universities in Germany too.
Placements: Around 60-70% of students from my Mechanical Engineering branch were placed, with a total batch strength of approximately 60 students. Out of these, around 10 secured core placements, primarily in PSUs like BPCL BEL and IOCL, as most core companies prefer M.Teach graduates. The rest of the placed students moved into non-core sectors like IT and management, joining companies such as Deloitte, Javis, ICICI, and Chub Analytics. Placements: In 2023, approximately 58% of Chemical Engineering students secure job offers, with the highest package reaching 41 LPA, the median at 20 LPA, and the average at 21 LPA. In the year 2022, we got 84% placements the highest package at 33 LPA and the average at 19 LPA. 50% of students get internships approximately. Students secured positions at Microsoft, BPCL, and others and were engaged with research under professors.
Placements: About 75 percent of the students were placed in my course. The highest package was 12 lacs, the average package was 7.5 lacs, and the lowest package was 5 lacs. Many reputed companies visited our college during the session, and several students got internships.
