IIT Mandi offers a two-year MSc course in a full-time mode. This course is divided into four semesters. The PG course is available in three specialisations, including Physics, Chemistry, and Applied Mathematics. Admission to MSc courses at IIT Mandi is through IIT JAM followed by CCMN counselling.

The total tuition fee for two-year course is INR 20,000 and the hostel fee (excluding meal plan) is INR 88,000. Total course fee will include other components such as admission fee, caution deposit, etc. as well. This fee is as per the first year/semester fees. Thus, the actual fee may vary. Aspirants must meet the eligibility conditions as prescribed by the institute and qualifying exam conducting body. IIT Mandi BTech registrations start with the release of JEE Main application forms. The registrations for JEE session one goes on from Oct till Nov, a year prior to the admission session. While the registrations for session two are carried out in February. Candidates who pass JEE Mains need to apply
