IIT Mandi offers a two-year MSc course in a full-time mode. This course is divided into four semesters. The PG course is available in three specialisations, including Physics, Chemistry, and Applied Mathematics. Admission to MSc courses at IIT Mandi is through IIT JAM followed by CCMN counselling.

The list of documents to be submitted at the time of IIT-JAM application for MSc:

- Coloured passport-size photograph in (JPEG format, white background)
