Our college has a really good infrastructure but has poor placements.

Placements: Placements are not that great in our college. Now, they have started providing some good internships, and a lot needs to be improved in this regard. Around 60%-70% of the students got good internships, but most of them got on their own sources. LEAD is very well known for media studies.

Infrastructure: LEAD has one of the best infrastructures in the city. The canteen is average, but the area of canteen and cafeteria is happening. LEAD is very active in sports also.

Faculty: Faculty members here are brilliant, and they are very friendly and co-operative. They have always supported us. They are very helpful, qualified and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality is great, and they make the subjects very interesting for us. The course curriculum is relevant. It makes students industry-ready as they provide proper internships.

Other: I chose this course because I am passionate about journalism. The best thing about our course is you get an opportunity to meet people, and if used this course wisely, it can bring a change in society also. I think there is no need to improve anything in our course. Our college needs to provide good placements. Our college organises an annual fest named Managedia along with Adrenaline which is a sports fest. Our college provides a lot of extracurricular activity opportunities.

Overall, it is a good college with excellent infrastructure and faculty. Placements can be improved.

Placements: The placements in the college are satisfactory. In the last semester, college came up with good internships with Taaza Tv, Friends FM and Prime. This year, companies like Zoomcar and Alliance also recruited a few students for internships. Placements should be improved. More companies should select the students to offer jobs as well as internships.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is amazing. All the classrooms are air-conditioned. The library has a great collection of books. There is a gym and a pool room for students. Studio, lab and classrooms are well-maintained. Food in the canteen is healthy and reasonable too.

Faculty: All the teachers in the college are very educated, and they help the students in all possible ways. All the teachers use smart, innovative methods to make the concepts clear. We have industrial visits too. The course curriculum is useful.

Other: The college organises a lot of events, seminars and workshops to provide exposure and opportunities to students. Thus, the students can learn a lot of new things. Scholarships are also provided. There are a number of extracurricular activities conducted for the students.

Education is the most powerful weapon which can be used to change the world.

Placements: Our senior batch placements were fair enough, and hoping for better placements for us and future batches. NDTV, Candid Communications Pvt Ltd., etc., are a few companies that visit the campus for placements. All the master students were given placements on the campus.

Infrastructure: We have a great infrastructure in our college. The library is the best place where we can get our interesting books. There are no such hostel provisions, but they provide PGs to students. The labs and classrooms are equipped with all the latest facilities. If students don't follow the college rules, then there will be punishments for them.

Faculty: The faculty members are helpful, knowledgeable, and they teach us in different ways but not old-school style. The course curriculum is good and interesting. The college provides the students with a free foreign language and short-term course of our choice along with whichever course we choose.

Other: Managedia is the biggest event of our college. Apart from that, many other events are organised in our college. Our college also provides the students with a scholarship. The college also gives the students a chance to earn.

A good blend of practical and theoretical knowledge.

Placements: The placement is very strong. Students get the opportunity to intern I top notch media house and management companies. Some of the placements have been in Ogilvy and Mather, Network 18, India Today, SVF, Radio FM, etc. There is regular visit of companies on campus. Students are taken for industry visits in companies like Taaza tv and Coca Cola.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is world class. The library is stocked with more than 10,000 books. The audio and visual lab is well-equipped with the latest software. There are two canteens for students to hangout. There is an art galler on the terrace. Sports room with pool, carrom, Dart and table tennis is available. Part from this there is a football and basketball court too.

Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified and well acquainted with their subjects. The curriculum is structured with accordance to the industry needs. The emphasis isn't more on practical training than theory. The faculty student ratio is 20:1. Individual attention is given to each students.

iLEAD is a name in itself, with an outstanding collection of faculty members and administration.

Placements: There have been placements in well-reputed companies and places like Vigyan Prasar, Red FM, T2 and many such places. We have hands down experience in industries, and iLEAD has taken us for industrial visits. Placements are given to the student according to their capabilities and where their interest lie.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure is state of the art, well-furnished and well-tended too. iLEAD has well-equipped classrooms, canteens, library, studio, audio-visual library and another campus, where work is in progress for a full swing. With a regular check on the activities of each and every person in the campus, there are 24 hours security alert, CCTV cameras placed in each and every corner of the building.

Faculty: There are mainly three courses that are offered here in iLEAD, B.Sc in media science, M.Sc in Media Science and BBA. The college runs under the curriculum of the West Bengal University of Technology, and thus, for both B.Sc and BBA have altogether six semesters and M.Sc have four. The syllabus is quite lucid, and the faculty at iLEAD try their best to inculcate into the students, not only studies but all round information and practices.

Other: Here in iLEAD, one gets a lifetime experience of how colleges should run. The students should always enjoy studying, and it should not burden them, with study there is play, and this is the balance that iLEAD follows.
