As a final year student I have enough experience in my college.

Faculty: Our teachers most of them passed out from top indian universities and our HOD ma'am is a very kind-hearted professor and always says to us how to improve our abilities to understand real-world fashion trends and textile architecture. Also she conducts many remedial classes if we miss class for any reason.

A great college that helps students enter the industry.

Faculty: Teachers are highly experienced and know their fields very well. We are taught all the Adobe software plus other needed software in depth. This makes the students industry-ready. We have end-semester exams which are good. We also have a jury every semester where we have to present all the work in our portfolio. All the teachers are very cooperative. Everything is taught practically.

Take your seat and grow with it.

Faculty: Our teachers are really qualified, knowledgeable, caring, and helpful. Semester exams are tough, but teachers help us with preparation. Sometimes they conduct monthly exams as preparation. Just follow their guidelines, and then everyone gets good results.

Go and take admission with your friends.

Faculty: In IIFD, some teachers have 7 to 10 years of work experience. They are also ready to help us in any situation. They prepare students for any exam. Semester exams are easy. Just learn, work hard, and follow the teacher's guidelines.

Strong placements and practical learning at IIFD Chandigarh.

Faculty: Faculty brings real industry experience into every class, which makes a huge difference. Workshops are a highlight recently attended a 2-day Vast Shastra workshop, which was genuinely eye-opening. Exams can get tough sometimes, from personal experience, but that pushes you to prepare better.

Attended Lakme fashion week through IIFD - Worth it.

Faculty: Teachers here are not just qualified, they have actually worked in the industry, and that difference every single day. I got to attend Lake Fashion Week Mumbai, April 2026, which was an unreal experience. Exams are competitive but fair. Would love more guest lectures, though that is my only suggestion.

Worth every bit of the investment.

Faculty: Most of the teachers are excellent, but a few are decent. All have industry backgrounds. The curriculum is relevant and makes you industry-ready with practical skills. Exams can get tough, but that's expected. Teaching quality is good, occasionally varying from teacher to teacher.

IIFD - The right choice for serious fashion design students.

Faculty: Teachers have good industry background and practical experience. The curriculum covers pattern making, CAD, and styling, which are very relevant. Teaching varies, and mostly it is good. Exams are moderate to tough but fair for serious learners. Honestly, overall no complaints.

A good college for learning fashion, interior, or textile design skills.

Faculty: Faculty members are very supportive and approachable with good subject knowledge. The course curriculum is relevant and skill-based. If we talk about exams, then they don't depend on college because it all depends on students and their preparation. Exams are moderately difficult.

A good design college with fine facilities.

Good college with excellent faculty members, and I gained good skills at IIFD.

Faculty: Faculty members are good in every term. Basically, they have many years of experience in their particular fields and they are good. They are supportive and always go out of their way to help us. Even the director ma'am is really good and helpful. The exam difficulty is average, and they conduct exams semester-wise.
